How to Unlock
You can unlock the Chapter 2 Promotion Mission by completing the previous B6 Battle Mission and reaching Captain Level 20 on your account. Doing so will automatically unlock the Promotion Mission as the final battle mission in Chapter 2.
Do note that you have to complete the Chapter 1 Promotion Mission in order to unlock Chapter 2 Battle Missions.
How to Beat Bercula
Focus on Single-Target Damage
Once Bercula's HP has reached the threshold indicated on its health bar, it will start charging up a powerful attack called Instant Execution and create a small shield on itself on the next turn. After charging up, Bercula will deal huge AoE Damage to the team and gain more damage for each monster executed.
We highly recommend focusing on Bercula itself and use single-target damage characters such as Tressa, Beryl, or Hugo to quickly defeat Bercula before it uses Instant Execution. AoE Damage can also be useful to prevent Bercula from gaining Reckless stacks with each use of Instant Execution.
Use Shields to Mitigate Damage
Early in the game, most players will have to take on Bercula with Level 20 characters that may not deal enough damage to avoid Instant Execution. On that note, we recommend stacking Shields as much as you can so you can survive the damage and continue whittling down Bercula's HP.
Khalipe and Magna are highly recommended since Bercula is weak to Instinct, while Amir and Maribell are great 4-star Shielders for early game builds.
Chapter 2 Promotion Mission Rewards
Unlocks Intermediate Captain Rank
Completing the Chapter 2 Promotion Mission automatically unlocks the Intermediate Captain rank, which increases the max level of Characters and Partners to Level 30.
Keep in mind that you still need to spend Promotion materials and Units to promote your Characters and Partners to the new level cap.
