Note: Renoa's performance significantly improves if her cards has Draw 1 Divine Epiphany.

Renoa's best build focuses on creating and discarding Dirge Bullets to deal constant extra damage to a random enemy and accumulating it to combo with Nia to discard a handful amount of Dirge Bullets all at once and prevent hand clogging. She promotes a burst playstyle where the peak of her power is within 1-3 turns because after that, your deck will be filled with Dirge Bullets making it less reliable to draw useful cards.

She is best suited with the 4/2 set consisting of Conqueror's Aspect to enhance the critical damage of 1 AP cards by 35% and Executioner's Tool to further increase the critical damage she deals by 25%.

Her favored chaos zone is Swamp of Judgment and Burning Life to get her best equipment such as Intellect of Discord for an 18% attack stat increase on all her attacks but can only be obtained after defeating Senectus. Fairy King's Crown for 6% critical chance increase and Dimensional Cube to gain up to 45% additive damage buff after discarding three cards.

Renoa's best team is Rei and Nia with their buffs and discard abilities respectively. Rei will help Renoa deal more Dirge Bullet damage and aid the team survive a few attacks with her passive heals. Nia on the other hand, helps Renoa immensely with her ability to discard multiple cards at once while simultaneously providing heals through extra attacks or discards and draw character specific cards.

Renoa's best card revolves around creating and discarding as many Dirge Bullets consistently while having access to buffs that can further enhance the damage of her Dirge Bullets.

The best epiphany for Echo of Sorrow is the one that turns it into a skill card and creates 3 Dirge Bullets. Otherwise, you can use the upgrade epiphany if you are planning of duplicating it. Instant Judgment in all of its epiphanies has no significant effect with this build therefore it is much better if it is an upgrade card or entirely removed from the deck

Ballad of Pitch Black should be the epiphany that increases the damage of her Dirge Bullet for 1 turn essentially doubling its damage. Multiple copies of Ballad of Pitch Black will only prolong the turn duration, it will not increase the damage buff it provides to your Dirge Bullet.

Flower of Devoured Fate needs to be the epiphany that discards up to 3 cards and create that many to help activate Dimensional Cube and also to consistently create Dirge Bullets even after a few turn has passed.

As of Season 2, the addition of a new neutral card for Rangers and Hunters called Forgotten Grave is great for Renoa to boost her critical chance up to 100% and can be reset when discarded and draw again.

Nia and Rei's cards should support Renoa's gameplan of discarding Dirge Bullets every turn to deal a ton of damage to a single target. Nia must have epiphanies that can discard a lot of cards while also helping her draw especially if any of the three characters has the Eternal Hunger forbidden card.

Rei will help buff the damage of all 1 cost cards which includes the effects of discarding Dirge Bullets making it more potent and deadly. She can also help thin the deck with her exhausts and draw to help the team cycle through the deck much faster.

As of the Season 2 Balance changes, Akad is now the best partner for her especially at higher manifest ego levels. He can increase the attack stat of Renoa and apply multiplicative damage buffs passively and after hitting a critical strike for 1 turn. His ego skill is a bit of waste as Renoa can easily increase her critical chance easily with Forgotten Grave.

Alternative Budget Partner

Yuri	If you do not have Akad, Yuri is still a great budget partner and can be equally strong as Akad when she is at max manifest ego level. Her strength comes from the fact that her ego skill can draw 2 cards anytime you want in battle which makes her valuable.

After a significant bug fix related to Renoa on December 3, 2025. Conqueror's Aspect now works with her Dirge Bullets when discarded making this set her best one to have as it will heavily increase the damage when her Dirge Bullet crits. Executioner's Tool will further increase the critical damage of all her attacks.

For both main stats and substats, aim for Void Damage, Extra Damage, Critical Chance, and Critical Damage. Critical Chance is a much preferred sub stat to focus on as she needs this to activate her last potential node which requires 60% critical chance to further enhance the damage of her Dirge Bullets. Extra Damage will also significantly increase the multipliers of her Dirge Bullet.

Some of Renoa's best equipment can only be found in both Burning Life and Swamp of Judgment with Fairy King's Crown for 6% more critical chance so she can hit her crits more often. Dimensional Cube for an up to +45% additive damage buff after discarding three cards. You can only obtain this item after reaching exploration level 30 on The Blue Pot.

As for her weapon slot, Intellect of Discord can provide Renoa an 18% attack stat increase but can only be found after defeating Senectus.

As for the best refinements, you can get a 25% multiplicative buffs for exhaust and extra damage because all her damage comes from her Dirge Bullets being discarded. The last refinement can be a 30% multiplicative buff as long as the whole party has 18 or less cards at the start of the battle.

If you aren't able to get the best, you can settle for these equipment that can be found in any chaos zones inside shops. Second Method to boost the extra damage of her Dirge Bullets. Titan Combat Suit for healing after getting hit once per turn and Amorphous Cube gives a permanent +25% damage to all her attacks.

Generate and Discard Dirge Bullets

Create and Discard Dirge Bullets

Use your Echo of Sorror or Flower of Devoured Fate to create Dirge Bullets in your hand. You can use it as is to deal more damage at the cost of 1 AP however, it will exhaust the card and not activate the discard effect.

Exhaust Dirge Bullets Using Ballad of Pitch Black

The only way to properly get rid of all your accumulated Dirge Bullets is to either use them as is to exhaust it or use Ballad of Pitch Black to exhaust all the Dirge Bullets only from your graveyard which doesn't include the draw pile.

Renoa is more of a burst DPS and her usefulness decreases as more turn goes by because of how much her Dirge Bullets accumulates in your deck.

Nia’s Ego Skill and Dirge Bullet Combo

One of Renoa's combo is with Nia where you accumulate a lot of Dirge Bullets and activate her ego skill to discard all your collected Dirge Bullets to activate its discard effect after it shuffles the cards from your graveyard back to the draw pile. Only use this combo after a shuffle. Here are the steps to do the combo:

Create Dirge Bullets using Echo of Sorrow or Ballad of Pitch Black.
Keep creating Dirge Bullets until you are down to the last 5 cards in your draw pile.
Once the draw pile is empty, all your Dirge Bullets will return to your Draw pile.
(Optional) Play Ballad of Pitch Black to increase the damage of your Dirge Bullets for one turn.
Use Nia's Ego Skill to discard all your cards from the draw pile and activate all the Dirge Bullets you've collected.

Renoa's Ego Skill and Last-Ditch Assault or Mute Accent Combo

Another combo that you can do with Renoa in between the start of the battle and before a shuffle occurs is to discard all your Dirge Bullets in hand using either Last-Ditch Assault or Mute Accent, redraw it back with Renoa's Ego Skill then discard it again by ending the turn. Here are the steps to do this combo:

Create Dirge Bullets using Echo of Sorrow or Ballad of Pitch Black.
Keep creating Dirge Bullets until you have either Last-Ditch Assault or Mute Accent alongside a few Dirge Bullets
(Optional) Use Ballad of Pitch Black to increase the damage of your Dirge Bullets.
Use either Last-Ditch Assault or Mute Accent to discard all your Dirge Bullets.
Use Renoa's Ego Skill to return all your Dirge Bullets back to your hand.
End your turn or (Optional) Use your Last-Ditch Assault or Mute Accent, whatever is left, to discard your Dirge Bullets again.

I agree, I’ve been using Renoa since the game launched. I’m level 50 now and using her in the endgame. In my opinion, she’s excellent when using Dirge Bullets as her main source of damage, especially if you have her 2 Ego manifest, so Offering of the Void isn’t a good option, imo. By the way, I usually run her with Nia and Rei for regular farming, and with Nia and Magna for bosses. I couldn’t really use her with Cassius, but that might just be because I’m not used to playing him much.

Id say dont use Offering of the void as her memofrag, you dont want her DIRGE BULLET stack to go to the EXHAUST pile, or else it will ruin her rotation of retrieving them back again using her UNIQUE EGO skill, rather using Conqueror Aspect 4 set since her card cost is only 0-1 at max
