Link Crash is a state where characters reach an uncurable trauma state while exploring chaos zones in Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN). Learn everything about Link Crash, as well as how to avoid it and all the features tied to Link Crash.

A Last Stand on Chaos Zones

Link Crash is your team's final leg when exploring a Chaos Zone. Whenever your character suffers a Mental Breakdown, their cards will turn to Breakdown cards that you'll need to use to recover their sanity.

However, during a Link Crash, this will no longer be possible, which makes this state a fatal state to be in.

Getting Attacked During a Link Crash Ends the Chaos Run

Once you're suffering from a Link Crash, taking an attack from an enemy will cause your run to end.

How to Remove Link Crash

You Cannot Recover From a Link Crash

When your party suffers from a Link Crash, it will be impossible to recover from it during that Chaos Run.

It is imperative to take proper steps to avoid being put into a Link Crash state, as completing a run during it will be nearly impossible.

How are Link Crash Triggered?

Your Team's HP Gets Reduced to 0

The main cause of triggering a Link Crash is having your party's HP be reduced to 0. Taking too many enemy attacks and setting your HP to 0 will not cause a gameover immediately; instead, you'll get a Link Crash, and the next hit will be fatal to your team.

Every Character Suffers From Mental Breakdown

An alternative and otherwise rare way to suffer from a Link Crash is by having every character suffer from a Mental Breakdown. If all three of your characters get a Mental Breakdown at the same time, a Link Crash will occur, which causes your run to end after getting hit by an enemy attack.
