Search the red bottle on the ground first. You can give it to the ghoul, which has unpredictable results, or you can give it to decrease all combatants' stress by 3. Interacting with the wooden box will trigger a fight. Pick up the old key then open the wooden box. Free the prisoner to obtain Equipment (Second Method).
