The Research Facility is a hub where you can purchase upgrades that aid in different aspects of the game. Some upgrades directly affect combat, while others provide various improvements to other Ark City mechanics.

Which Research Nodes Should You Get First?
Prioritize Policy Nodes
We recommend researching Policy-related nodes as soon as you can, to maximize the daily policy points that you can accrue, as well decrease the chances of penalties when disasters occur.
Grab Nodes That Increase Capacity
For node level 30 and beyond, we recommend grabbing the nodes that increase your output, such as Extra Aether Storage, Unofficial Excursion Permit, and Supply Chain Circulation Enhancement Policy nodes.
Generally, any research node that increases your output is good, so you should prioritize maxing out these nodes as soon as they become available to you.
How to Get Research Notes
Purchaseable in Nono’s Shop
You can buy Research Notes, as well as other reports, at Nono's shop. Please note that most items have purchase limits, which are reset weekly. The server resets every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. UTC+0, so keep that in mind when deciding how to spend your currency.
Earn Policy Points by Reviewing Policies
Ideally, you should review policies daily whenever they are available to earn policy points. Complete as many policies as possible before each reset to ensure that you do not reach the cap and waste any policy points.
