|---|---|
Currently the only contoller support in the game with card draw synergies. Also passively provides a damage buff to the team after a combatant's card draw which makes it usable even on combatant without draw if a divine epiphany card draw is added and/or common cards with card draw effect like Rally and Gear Bag.
Her Ego skill also lets you reshuffle and remove bad cards from your hand to redraw the same amount + another card which makes it an easy ego to use despite its 4 AP cost. |
Psionic characters can easily generate card such as Futility and Daggers. This makes it easy for existing Psionic Characters to slot in Anteia as their partner card. You can also damage and apply vulnerable to all enemies on ego use which makes it synergize with AoE cards. |
Passive gives Crit. Rate and will give Crit. Damage each time the assigned Hunter deal a Critical Hit. A very easy partner to slot in for Luke and Renoa as they can generate multiple cards and quickly fill up the critical damage bonus Serithea can give. |
Let's you break enemies faster and makes basic attacks better by adding a weakpoint damage bonus to it which several striker unit's such as Mei Lin and Rin uses. |
Most team cycle involves using support unit's buffs and other 0 cost card to setup your turn before your main DPS unit launches their combo. This card is generally good on any striker unit save for Haru due to her high cost cards. |
Psionics can easily generate additional so units like Tressa and Kayron can easily reach the highest uptime of Bria's effect and can easily grant up to 55% additional damage on your card damage. |
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
Can boost the combatant's Extra Damage and Attack Cards for 1 turn after drawing a card using an ability. Ego Skill can inflict high damage to a target and add 1 stack of Mark. |
An absolute beast of a card for Hunters that can discard cards. However, the only hunter card that utilizes discards on the game as of right now is Renoa which makes the card's usability limited. However, if you want to amplify Renoa's performance then getting Kiara as a partner will greatly benefit her. |
Marianne is perfect for units that utilize their basic cards into their moveset such as Rin. Her main effect also amplifies damage against your taget which makes it a good dps card overall but its main effect of requiring basic cards makes it incompatible with multiple attacker cards. |
Has limited usage as not all hunters can generate extra damage cards (Hugo) but for other hunters that can maximize this effect like such as Veronica, her damage bonuses can easily ramp up and provide a huge DPS increase. |
Noel works best with cards that can retain cards such as Orlea. However, Cassius can also make use of this card and its ego skill with the right epiphany such as Pop Eyed Popper with retain for quest cards. However, aside from these two, other controllers can't really maximize her effects which makes her subpar compared to other controller partners, even ones on the 4 star range. |
Similar to other vanguard cards, Erica suffers from the restrictive nature of counter-focused playstyle which doesn't work well with Basin of Hyperspace. She works well with shield-focused vanguard like Amir while also being great with counter-focused vanguard by providing more counter stacks which makes Erica a great general card to have for Vanguards as a whole (except Khalipe). |
Almost no other strikers can maximize Asteria's use but she works extremely well with her partner banner character Haru. If you want to maximize Haru and her Anchor Shot's big damage playstyle, you'll want to get Asteria to further ramp up your burst damage from her. But if you're using other strikers, her performance drastically drops. |
Westmacott works best with striker characters that can draw their own cards. Thankfully, most of them can do this except for Owen. The increased damage to drawn attack cards is huge compared to other striker partners even at her base Manifest Ego. Her only downside is that is where she ends her help however, she further increases damage if she is paired with Yuki which also boost cards with the Inspiration tag. |
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
Janet is the main partner card for Luke who often uses bullets. She doesn't work well with Lucas who is also a bullet-focused character due to her 5 use requirement which makes her limiting. Aside from limited usability, her benefit of providing extra bullet damage only applies to her own generated card and would require an ego skill use for a 20% bullet damage buff. |
A counter-focued partner card which makes her great with characters like Maribell and Magna. However, defense-based damage is extremely difficult to capitalize on except for Khalipe which is not a counter character which makes Eishlen suffer together with the meta.
She will still be great with counter shielders but due to the game's current focus of finishing battles under 12 turns on the Basin of Hyperspace means she's a bad choice. But if you're exploring chaos zones with a counter team then she'll find her time to shine. |
Buffs the cards and damage of Instinct and Vanguard combatants. The complete opposite of Eishlen where only Khalipe is able to capitalize on Zeta's effects due to it being an instict-focused defense card. |
Provides an HP and damage buff passively but her main effect is restricted against ravaged enemies and these enemies are often near death which makes the damage buff almost negligible for most circumstances. |
Best equipped on Order Ranger, which is only Hugo on the current version. Passive can provide the high Extra Attack Damage. Ego Skill costs only 2 EP and can provide additional card and bonus damage. |
Partners can also cast Ego Skill in combat. Partners that have an Ego Skill with less cost, but better effects will have a higher placement on the list.
The passive effect of a partner should work on multiple characters and give them best effect for them to place well in the tier list. If their effects have a condition that is hard to activate, they won't be placed high on the list.
Higher rarity partners are expected to have stronger effects, but that does not make lower rarity partners weak. How easy a partner is to obtain is important to consider when making the list.
