Spiral Tower of Screams Distortion Effects

Bring a Healer to Your Team
A way to recover HP is recommended as you tackle the floors of the Tower. Even with a high-DPS team, you will still take damage from certain modifiers such as Thorns and you can take damage from enemy actions before truly clearing the mob groups. Since you will be fighting 5 consecutive battles, a way to sustain your HP is recommended for a team.
Bring Your Highest Damaging DPS Team
Aside from a healer, we recommend bringing the strongest DPS team you have. Clearing each round of the tower will still be the best way to clear each round. This is especially true as the distortion effect of the tower makes each enemy weak to every attribute which makes any DPS effective.
Defense-Based Combatants Are Great Options As Well
Due to the Defense-Based damage bonus, combatants that can reliably dish out defense-based damage have a place in the current Spiral Tower. The new combatant Narja in particular, is a great combatant to bring as she can both provide defense-based damage, damage bonuses, and healing.
Aside from Narja, combatants such as Khalipe is also a great option as there are rounds with multiple enemies in one wave. Amir is also a surprisingly good combatant to consider if you have Narja as she can dish out AoE damage while also capable of defensive capabilities such as shields and multiplicative damage negation.
What is Spiral Tower of Screams
No Turn Limit
One major difference with Spiral Tower of Screams is that there will be no turn limit and instead the only goal is to complete all the battles however you want. This way, roles such as Vanguards, that were sidelined in other gamemodes will be a viable strategy in this gamemode.
Universal Attribute Weakness and Additional Rules
Inside Spiral Tower of Screams, every enemy will have a rainbow attribute meaning that any combatant regardless of their attribute will always hit their weakness dealing more damage and tenacity to the enemy.
150 Floor Increasing Difficult Wave Battles
Spiral Tower of Screams will be a permanent gamemode in the future inside Simulation similar to Basin of Hyperspace where you need to complete waves of increasing difficult battles as you progress higher.
Every 5 floors will be one battle consisting of 4 waves of normal enemies and 1 wave of boss enemies. This results to a total of 30 battles to complete every floor.
How to Unlock Spiral Tower of Screams
Reach Captain Level 45
You need to reach Captain Level 45 to unlock Spiral of Tower of Screams permanently in Simulation.
Spiral Tower of Screams Release Date
Releases on January 14, 2026 as a Beta Test
Spiral Tower of Screams will only release on January 14, 2026 as a limited-time beta test. The full release is unknown but we will update this page once information about it is out.
Only 50 Floors on Release
For the beta test, only 50 floors will be available for a limited time which will have a total of 10 five waves battle with each set of floor containing enemies with higher levels.
Limited to 5 Clears Per Week
However, you are limited to only 5 clears per week which resets every Sunday at 18:00 (UTC+0). The clear only counts after every 5 floors and finishing the fight. If you die, restart or leave the fight, it will not reduce your clears for that week.
Also, once you have completed each set of floor, you can do the fight again without losing any clears.
