How to Get All Stars for Lugia

How to Take Lugia 1 Star Photo

Sleeping Giant

Taking a 1 Star Photo of Lugia requires accessing the first Branch Route and befriending a Lanturn that leads you directly to Lugia's lair.

1	Start Undersea at Research Level 3. Head to the first Branching Route.
2	Find the Lanturn and throw an Illumina Orb at it. If the Lanturn swims up and follows the other Pokemon swimming upwards, restart the course and try again.
3	Turn towards the two Frillish and wait until a Wailord appears and blocks your view.
4	Throw an Illumina Orb at the Lanturn to rescue it from the two Frillish.
5	Follow the Lanturn as it swims down to the seafloor and leads you to another Branching Route.
6	Look to your right to find Lugia sleeping on an elevated platform. Take a photo of it to achieve 1 Star.

How to Take Lugia 2 Star Photo

Heading to the Ruins

Taking a 2 Star Photo of Lugia requires following the same steps as taking its 1 Star Photo. After heading inside Lugia's lair, you need to light up two Crystablooms inside to wake up the Pokemon and have it swim towards the ruins.

1	Start Undersea at Research Level 3. Head to the first Branching Route.
2	Find the Lanturn and throw an Illumina Orb at it. If the Lanturn swims up and follows the other Pokemon swimming upwards, restart the course and try again.
3	Turn towards the two Frillish and wait until a Wailord appears and blocks your view.
4	Throw an Illumina Orb at the Lanturn to rescue it from the two Frillish.
5	Follow the Lanturn as it swims down to the seafloor and leads you to another Branching Route.
6	Look to your right to find Lugia sleeping on an elevated platform. Throw an Illumina Orb at the first Crystabloom next to it.
7	Wait for the Neo-One to move until you get a full view of Lugia. Throw Illumina Orbs behind the Pokemon to light up the second Crystabloom next to a Magikarp.
8	When all Crystablooms are illuminated, Lugia wakes up and swims towards the ruins area. Take a photo of it swimming towards the ruins to get its 2 Star Photo.

How to Take Lugia 3 Star Photo

Taking a 3 Star Photo of Lugia requires following the same steps when taking its 2 Star Photo. You need to take a photo of it as it prepares to swim away to achieve 3 Star.

How to Take Lugia 4 Star Photo

To take a 4 Star Photo of Lugia, you need to follow the same steps when taking its 3 Star Photo. As soon as it wakes up, throw a lot of Fluffruits at it before it disappears.

Throw another batch of Fluffruits at Lugia when it appears for the second time. This triggers the Pokemon to head towards the ruined platform to let out a mighty roar.

Seafloor Roar

1	Start Undersea at Research Level 3. Head to the first Branching Route.
2	Find the Lanturn and throw an Illumina Orb at it. If the Lanturn swims up and follows the other Pokemon swimming upwards, restart the course and try again.
3	Turn towards the two Frillish and wait until a Wailord appears and blocks your view.
4	Throw an Illumina Orb at the Lanturn to rescue it from the two Frillish.
5	Follow the Lanturn as it swims down to the seafloor and leads you to another Branching Route.
6	Look to your right to find Lugia sleeping on an elevated platform. Throw an Illumina Orb at the first Crystabloom next to it.
7	Wait for the Neo-One to move until you get a full view of Lugia. Throw Illumina Orbs behind the Pokemon to light up the second Crystabloom next to a Magikarp.
8	When all Crystablooms are illuminated, Lugia wakes up and swims towards the ruins area. Throw a lot of Fluffruits at this point before it disappears from your view.
9	Turn towards the area with the Lanturn on the left and the Golisopod on the right. Lugia will reappear in the middle of this area and you have to throw another batch of Fluffruits at it for the second time.
10	Look behind to see if Lugia twirls around as it swims to the other side. This lets you know if you have successfully thrown the Fluffruits at it two times.
11	Wait for Lugia to swim towards the ruined platform and let out a roar. Take a photo of it roaring to achieve 4 Star and complete the Seafloor Roar request..
