This guide will cover all of the Pokemon that can be found in Side Path (Day) of Secret Side Path in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch, as well as how to unlock the level. How to Unlock	On Park (Day), scan the tree on your left in the grassy area where the Grookey sleeps.

How to Raise Your Research Level

Pokemon Locations

Pokemon	Where to Find
Wurmple	Right at the beginning of the course. Just after the Emolga carries you down, Wurmple can be found among the mushrooms. After Scorbunny and Pichu's second appearance in the level, just after Dodrio reappears to scare them away.
Comfey	Above you as soon as the course starts. Near where the Dodrio and Torterra face off near the end of the course. When taking the alternate path, you'll find more Comfey hidden in the grass.
Dodrio	Will arrive shortly after the course starts. Will scare away the Scorbunny and Pichu along the path. Will poke it's head into the log with the Bidoof. Will face against Torterra near the end of the course.
Scorbunny	Standing near the start of the course with Pichu. Near where the Dodrio and Torterra face off near the end of the course.
Pichu	Standing near the start of the course with Scorbunny. Near where the Dodrio and Torterra face off near the end of the course.
Pidgeot	Flying overhead, can be spotted in the background just after the Scorbunny and Pichu leave. Flying overhead, near where the Dodrio and Torterra face off near the end of the course.
Emolga	One on the left will carry you down the lower level. More can be found to your right near a Crystabloom and some Shroomish.
Shroomish	Just after the Emolga carries you down, Shroomish can be found among the mushrooms.
Bidoof	In the log just before the Torterra with the Vivillon.
Torterra	One can be found just after the log with a Bidoof. If you play a Melody while in the log, you'll be able to go above the Torterra instead of beneath it. Will face against Dodrio near the end of the course.
Vivillon	A Meadow-Pattern Vivillon can be found resting on the Torterra's tree. By traversing the top of the Torterra, throw an orb at the Meadow-Pattern Vivillon. A Garden-Pattern Vivillon will appear.
Taillow	Near Scorbunny and Pichu's second appearance in the level, just before Dodrio reappears to scare them away.
Snorlax	When taking the alternate path, a Snorlax can be found sleeping in the trunk of a tree. You can feed it fluffruit when it mouth opens, then play the Melody to wake it up. If you wake it up, it will reappear near the end of the course after you return to normal size.
Sylveon	Found near the end of the course after you return to normal size.

After the Dodrio appears to scare away the Scorbunny and Pichu at the start of the course, scan the grass to your left to access the Snorlax Den.

Dancing Trio Research Lv. 1	Throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom and play the Melody to make three Shroomish dance. Dancing Trio Walkthrough
Snorlax Dash Research Lv. 1	Wake up Snorlax so that he will appear later in the stage. Throw Illumina Orbs and Fluffruit at him in the Flower Field and he will dash towards you. Reward: Hat 7 Snorlax Dash Walkthrough

Crystabloom 1	On the main path, to your right near Shroomish after the Emolga lowers you down.
Crystabloom 2	Near the end of the course where the Torterra defend Pichu and Scorbunny from the Dodrio.

Play melody as you come.out of the first log. This will make tortera dance and the pink vivillion will fly up. Hit it with an orb then and the green one will come.

I cannot figure out how to get the second vivillon. It won't let me go over the torterra and whenever I throw an illumina orb at the meadow vivillon, nothing happens. Somebody please help. I'm going insane.
