Everything We Know About Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Story Plot

From the minds behind the critically acclaimed series, Life is Strange, Don't Nod presents another cinematic masterpiece of a game that involves themes of friendship, coming-of-age and adulthood, and quite notably, cameras, with an added fresh twist to the theme of mystery combined with nostalgia.

Set in 1995, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage follows Swann, a quirky introvert who loves capturing reality through the lens of her trusty camcorder, as the fresh-out-of-highschool wide-eyed girl films her last summer in Velvet Cove. At the start of the summer, Swann gets to know a group of friends—Nora, Autumn, and Kat—with whom she forms close bonds.

Soft-spoken and creative Swann rounds out a vibrant friend group of different personalities with Nora, rebellious, eccentric and full of energy; Autumn, the thoughtful and charismatic group leader; and Kat: pragmatic, strong-willed and enigmatic. The four of them spend the "fateful summer of ‘95" together to uncover secrets that will bind and break the group.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage touches on self-discovery, forging unbreakable bonds during teenhood, and the events following such a pivotal moment in life. As summer comes to an end, so does the four girls' friendship. In a classic Don't Nod move, everything starts to become enshrouded in secrets and intrigue. "A downward spiral culminates in an unexplained event that makes them promise to never see each other again. Now, twenty-seven years later, fate reunites them to confront the long-buried secret that they left behind in 1995."
