This is a guide on how to change your name in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn when can you change your name, the maximum character limit, as well as how you can change your Profile Icon!

In New Pokemon Snap, you have the option to change your name as soon as you have unlocked the Lab. Letters, numbers, and special characters can be used in the name. The maximum number of characters allowed is 12.
Be sure to choose your name carefully as the game does not allow offensive words on the name.
You can also change the icon in Your Space the same way. Simply click on the displayed icon, and choose a new one from the list! Choose an icon you love, as it will be displayed when playing online!
How to Unlock All Profile Icons
| 1 | Select "Lab". |

| 2 | Select "Your Space". |
| 3 | Select the name under the "Your Info" on the right side of the screen. |
| 4 | Rename and press the Plus (+) to save changes. |
Lab
On the main menu, hover the cursor over the middle diamond icon to access the Lab.
Your Space
On the Lab screen, select the second diamond icon to access Your Space.
Hover the cursor over the name under the Your Info on the right side of the screen to change your name.
An on-screen keyboard appears after selecting the name. Change the name and press the Plus (+) button to save changes.
