Jungle (Day) Walkthrough: List of Pokemon and How to Unlock

This guide will cover all of the Pokemon that can be found in Jungle (Day) of Founja Jungle in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch, as well as how to unlock the level. How to Raise Your Research Level

Pokemon Locations

Pokemon	Where to Find
Minimum Research Level 1
Beautifly	A large Beautifly will appear to your left shortly after you pass the large web. May be found fluttering about near the muddy swamp. May be found fluttering above the water near the waterfall. Near the end of the course, can be found near the Crystabloom to the right. From Research Level 2, Beautifly can be found right at the start of the course.
Aipom	Running across the logs at the start of the course. Can be found playing in a clearing to the right of the muddy swamp. May run towards the swamp in later research levels.
Pikipek	Several Pikipek can be found flying around near the start of the course. One to your right will also be pecking at the trunk of a tree. A larger flock of Pikipek will be resting on the branches ahead of you past the large web. Another PIkipek can be found pecking at the trunk of a tree close to the muddy area. As you pass the ruins, you'll find a flock of Pikipek to your right, flying towards the waterfall. Among the trees to your right across from the waterfall.
Bounsweet	Three Bounsweet can be found nesting on one of the branches overhead near the beginning of the course. May be found close to the trees and fallen berries to your left past the swamp. From Research Level 2, Bounsweet can be found floating about near the start of the course. From Research Level 2, a Bounsweet can be reunited with it's friend Wooper as part of the Jungle Buddies request.
Slaking	To your left, a Slaking can be found napping in a large hole covered in leaves just past the large web.
Arbok	May be found along the path, disturbing a Wooper in a bush, or to the right, slithering in the bushes. From Research Level 2, Arbok can be found in one of the trees to your left at the start of the course.
Quagsire	Can be found sitting in the muddy swamp. Can be found sitting in one of the rocks beneath the waterfall.
Liepard	Can be found prowling in the grass to your right near the start of the course. As you pass over the ruins, several Liepard can be found prowling or napping atop the branches of the tree to your left. A Liepard can be found napping on a rock just before you reach the waterfall area. This same Liepard can be woken up from Research Level 3 to access the hidden path behind the waterfall. Can be found along the main path in the waterfall area.
Magikarp	As you pass over the ruins, a Magikarp can be found swimming In the river to your bottom left. Can be found swimming in the pool of water beneath the waterfall. By zooming in, and throwing Fluffruit at the top of the waterfall, more Magikarp may flop down from the top. At Research Level 3, a Magikarp will splash out of the water when Venusaur dives in.
Metapod	On a tree trunk to your left just past the fallen log at the start of the course. As you pass over the ruins, a Metapod can be found hanging from the log you just came from. From Research Level 2, a few lone Metapods may be found leaning next to trees near the ruins. From Research Level 3, a trio of Metapods can be found grouped together on the ground just before the waterfall area.
Mew Postgame Only	Once Mew has been revealed in Jungle (Night), Mew will appear several times across Jungle (Day) provided that you hit it with an Illumina Orb at each opportunity. The first place Mew appears is right at the start of the course, right before the fallen log. If you'd hit Mew with an Illumina Orb at the start of the stage, Mew will reappear next to a flower bush right before the first Crystabloom. If you'd hit Mew with an Illumina Orb near the swamp, Mew will reappear among the trees above the Ruins. If you'd hit Mew with an Illumina Orb in the trees above the Ruins, Mew will reappear among the trees to your right in the main path near the waterfall. Hitting it with an Illumina Orb here will not cause it to teleport away anymore. From Research Level 3, if you'd hit Mew with an Illumina Orb in the trees above the Ruins, and you took the branching path to go behind the waterfall Mew will reappear above the water. Hitting it with an Illumina Orb here will not cause it to teleport away anymore.
Minimum Research Level 2
Yanmega	Can be found hovering above the muddy swamp.
Wooper	By scaring away an Arbok that is intimidating it, this Wooper will come out from hiding in a bush near the large web. Can be found swimming with Quagsire beneath the waterfall.
Toucannon	Beneath a Crystabloom in the large tree above the ruins.
Vivillon	Monsoon-Pattern Viviilon can be found exiting a small cave to the left of the muddy swamp after Aipom cuts the grass down as part of the Cutting Moment request. From Research Level 3, a Jungle-Pattern Vivillon can be found on the walls behind the waterfall.
Sobble	Can be lured out of the grass in the waterfall area as part of the In the Tall Grass request. Can also be found in some of the rocks beneath the waterfall. From Research Level 3, a Sobble can be spotted to the right of the river when viewed from above the ruins. From Research Level 3, Sobble can be found in the alternate path behind the waterfall, accompanying a Leafeon.
Minimum Research Level 3
Venusaur	Can be found napping in the clearing near the muddy swamp. Can be woken up with Scan, and chased away by Arbok as part of the Staredown for Venusaur request. Can be found wandering near the ruins. Can be found in the higher ledges across from the waterfall. Can be found resting beneath the waterfall.
Leafeon	By lighting up the Crystabloom near the ruins, a Leafeon will approach it. Can be found in the alternate path behind the waterfall, accompanying a Wooper

Jungle (Day) Alternate Routes

Alternate Route 1

The first Alternate Route for Jungle (Day) is unlocked upon reaching Research Level 2. Press and Hold the Scan button as you approach the fork in the path.

Alternate Route 2

The second Alternate Route for Jungle (Day) is unlocked upon reaching Research Level 3. You need to throw an Illumina Orb at the Liepard to gain access to this path.

Jungle (Day) Crystablooms

Crystabloom	Where to Find
Crystabloom 1	Past the web, to your left. Just before the branching path.
Crystabloom 2	In one of the branches atop the tree above the ruins. Illuminating this Crystabloom may cause reactions to nearby Toucannon.
Crystabloom 3	Found close to the ruins. Illuminating this Crystabloom may attract nearby Leafeon.
Crystabloom 4	Found beneath the waterfall. Illuminating this Crystabloom may excite nearby Pokemon to jump into the water.
Crystabloom 5	Found to the right of the main path before the level ends. Illuminating this Crystabloom may excite nearby Vivillon and Beautifly.

Jungle (Day) Ancient Ruins

Halfway through the course, just before the waterfalls area, look at the base of the giant tree to find these ancient ruins. You can also find these ruins in Jungle (Night).
