This guide will cover all of the Pokemon that can be found in River (Night) of Mightywide River in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch, as well as how to unlock the level. How to Raise Your Research Level

Pokemon Locations

Pokemon	Where to Find
Wooper	As soon as the course starts, Wooper can be found walking with Cleffa in the grass to your left. Just before you fall down the waterfall, Woopers and a Quagsire can be found to your left. After you pass the Crystabloom hidden behind the waterfall, watch the river for a Wooper that may surface. Hit it with a Fluffruit and it will swim over to the riverbed and join a Psyduck for a swim. Quagsire and Wooper can be found sitting by the rapids. If the Wooper earlier in the course was hit with a Fluffruit, Psyduck will join them. If the Ledian in the vines are trigerred with an Illumina Orb, this Quagsire will fall into the water. Playing the Melody will cause the Quagsire to swim towards the Moonlit cave and reappear inside it with Wooper.
Cleffa	As soon as the course starts, Cleffa can be found walking with Wooper in the grass to your left. In the Moonlit Cave.
Aipom	Aipom can be found playfully hiding in the plants at the start of the course. Aipom can also be found peeking at you on your left just before you fall down the waterfall. Throwing a Fluffruit at this Aipom allows it to reappear later on in the level. If the Feraligatr was triggered to dive earlier in the level, Aipom and Magikarp will appear near the base of the waterfall that you fall from. May appear late into the level if they were hit with Fluffruit earlier and observed all the way to the end.
Ariados	As soon as the course starts, an Ariados can be spotted behind you on the shore to your right. Another Ariados will be on a web, also to your right at the start of the course. Another Ariados can be found in the clearing to your left just before falling down the waterfall. It will be hiding in the trees. It reveals itself when Feraligatr is triggered to dive.
Morelull	As soon as the course starts, Morelull can be found hidden in the plants to your right. A Tropius can be found sleeping next to Morelull just before the rapids. In the Moonlit Cave.
Drilbur	As soon as the course starts, Drilbur can be found hidden in the plants to your right. You may need to toss a Fluffruit at them to get them to come out. There is also another Drilbur on the left side of the river bank, near where the Ursaring is resting. Fluffruit may be necessary to lure the Drilbur out. After falling from the waterfall, keep your eye on the land to your right where a Quagsire is sleeping. Throw a Fluffruit at it to reveal two Woopers hiding behind it. Throw Illumina Orbs at these Wooper and play the Melody and they will strike a pose. Scan, Play the Melody, and Throw Illumina Orbs at them and a Drilbur will pop out from the ground. Two Drilbur appear above the Ursaring in the rapids. Throwing an Illumina Orb at them triggers them to reappear later in the level. May appear at the end of the course. In the Moonlit Cave.
Tropius	When the course starts, a Tropius can be found to your left drinking from the river. Throwing an Illumina Orb at this Tropius will trigger it to take flight to reappear later in the level. Another Tropius can be found when you look at the peak of the cliff ahead of you. Throwing an Illumina Orb at this Tropius will trigger it to take flight to reappear later in the level. As you fall down the waterfall, be quick to throw an Illumina Orb at the Tropius sleeping on the right, or the Crystabloom near it. Illuminating this Tropius will allow it to reappear later on in the level. Sleeping Tropius can be found in the land on your right just past the Crystabloom hidden behind the waterfall. Some Tropius will fly above the water just before the rapids. A Tropius can be found sleeping next to Morelull just before the rapids. May appear at the end of the course.
Psyduck	A Psyduck may appear on your left near the start of the level. It will jump into the water for a swim. A Psyduck can be found in the land on your right just past the Crystabloom hidden behind the waterfall. Quagsire and Wooper can be found sitting by the rapids. If the Wooper earlier in the course was hit with a Fluffruit, Psyduck will join them. In the Moonlit Cave.
Toucannon	Toucannon can be found flying about in the early parts of the course. As you fall down the first waterfall, you have to quickly snap photos at the Toucannon and Swamperts resting on the left side of the river. More Toucannon can be found flying about above the water after falling down the waterfall. Some Toucannon will fly above the water just before the rapids. May appear at the end of the course.
Vivillon	Vivillon can be found flying about in the early parts of the course. If the Ledian hiding in the vines are hit with an Illumina Orb, three different variants of Vivillon will fly down the ramp on your right, waking the sleeping Pokemon nearby. If you scared away the Beautifly along the main path, a Vivillon will appear around the Rapids area of the river. Two variants of the Vivillon will also appear clinging onto the walls of the Moonlit cave. Vivillon of different variants also appear at the end of the stage.
Beautifly	Beautifly can be found flying about in the early parts of the course. Some of them will also be resting on vines. Throwing Fluffruit at them will cause a Vivillon to appear later in the stage. More Beautifly can be found clinging onto the vines blocking the path to the Moonlit Cave. Throwing Fluffruit at them is also necessary to cause the Vivillon to appear in the main path of the stage. Can be found flying above the rapids. May appear at the end of the course.
Feraligatr	A Feraligatr may surface from the water early in the course. Another Feraligatr can be seen walking on a higher platform early in the course. This is the same Feraligatr who is part of the Diving Spot Lentalk Request. If the Feraligatr was not triggered to dive earlier in the level, a Feraligatr will appear resting on a tree branch near the waterfall. Feraligatr can be found resting beneath the rocky structure to your left, just before the rapids. May appear at the end of the course.
Ledian	Ledian may be found flying about in the early parts of the course. More Ledian can be found flying about above the water after falling down the waterfall. There is a pair of Ledian hiding in some vines just before the entrance to the moonlit cave which you can wake with Illumina Orbs. This triggers several effects throughout the level. May appear at the end of the course.
Ursaring	Can be found resting on your left at the river bank. If the Ledian hiding in the vines are hit with an Illumina Orb, an Ursaring will run down the ramp on your right, waking the sleeping Pokemon nearby An Ursaring can be found just opposite the Crystabloom in the rapids.
Magikarp	Magikarp can be found throughout the course. Throw Fluffruit into the water and they will occassionally flop out. Take a photo of some before descending the waterfall. If the Feraligatr was triggered to dive earlier in the level, Aipom and Magikarp will appear near the base of the waterfall that you fall from. Magikarp can be seen swimming upstream in the rapids. May appear at the end of the course.
Quagsire	Just before you fall down the waterfall, Woopers and a Quagsire can be found to your left. A Sleeping Quagsire can be found in the land on your right just past the Crystabloom hidden behind the waterfall. If the Ledian in the vines are trigerred with an Illumina Orb, this Quagsire will fall into the water. Playing the Melody will cause the Quagsire to swim towards the Moonlit cave and reappear inside it. Quagsire and Wooper can be found sitting by the rapids. If the Wooper earlier in the course was hit with a Fluffruit, Psyduck will join them.
Gyarados	If the Feraligatr was triggered to dive earlier in the level, throw Illumina Orbs at the Magikarp found at the base of the waterfall and scan to alert them. Illuminate the Crystabloom hidden behind the second waterfall to trigger Gyarados to appear. This Gyarados is also part of the Lurking in the Water Lentalk Request.
Swampert	As you fall down the first waterfall, you have to quickly snap photos at the Toucannon and Swamperts resting on the left side of the river. A Swampert can be found swimming in the waters just before the rapids. May appear at the end of the course. In the Moonlit Cave.

Alternate Route 1 - Moonlit Cave

Research Level	Lv. 2

After passing through the waterfall, look to your right to find a group of Beautifly clinging on some hanging plants. Run a scan to access the alternate route.

River (Night) Requests

Diving Spot Research Lv. 1 or higher	Capture a photo of Feraligatr diving into the water. Reward: Black-and-White Diving Spot Walkthrough
Majestic Ursaring Research Lv. 2	Throw an Ilumina Orb at the Crystabloom opposite of the Ursaring. Run a scan and wait for the Magikarp to slap Ursaring in the face. Reward: Star 6 Majestic Ursaring Walkthrough
Lurking in the Water Research Lv. 2	Gather the Magikarp to climb up the waterfall with Gyarados Reward: Effect 7 Lurking in the Water Walkthrough

River (Night) Crystablooms

Crystabloom	Where to Find
Crystabloom 1	As you reach the first waterfall, look on the bottom right to take a photo of the Crystabloom next to a sleeping Tropius.
Crystabloom 2	While riding down the first waterfall, look to your left to find the Crystalbloom on the rocks.
Crystabloom 3	The third Crystabloom can be found behind the waterfall. Throw an Illumina Orb at the base of the waterfall to activate it.
Crystabloom 4	Wait for the Neo-One to cross the small waterfall and look to your right to find the Crystabloom next to a Quagsire.
Crystabloom 5	The fifth Crystabloom can be found inside the alternate route. Pass through the alternate route and look to your right to find the Crystabloom next to a group of sleeping Cleffa.

Scan the water near where the swampert emerges.

My map is almost 100% complete all I'm missing is one Quagsire thats supposed to be past the entrance of the Moonlit cave!! This is before the rapids and it's next to the Ambipom found on the cliff. The site gives me no info on how to find it, please send help!
