List of Contents
One of the online features available in New Pokemon Snap is the ability to connect with trainers around the globe. There are ranking systems as well that has leaderboards for players who play on the same language as you, as well as global leaderboards!
One of the ranking systems is the Total Photodex Score, which sums up the photo scores of each registered snap in your Photodex. With this in mind, the easiest way to climb the rankings is by consistently taking a lot of high quality photos. Make sure you understand how to net high scores on each of the judgement criteria to rack up those points for your Total Photodex Score.

Another leaderboard is where players are ranked based on their Total Course Score. After beating the main story, you'll unlock Course Scores, which is based on how thoroughly you explored a course. You can accumulate Course Score by taking quality shots of as much Pokemon as possible in a single run.
A great way to rack up points for Course Scores is to use Burst Mode, also unlocked at post-game, and use it on Pokemon behavior that will yield 4-star snaps.
Post Game Contents and 100 Percent Guide
The third and last ranking system is for individual Course Scores. This one's the same as the previous leaderboard except here, players are ranked based on their Course Score on each course. Check each island and areas to see how well you explored a course compared to other players online!
