More comfortable playing in a different language? Learn the language options in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch, as well as how to change your language settings!
List of Contents
In New Pokemon Snap, your language options for on-screen text are English, Japanese (Kana Only), Japanese (with Kanji), French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Korean, Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional). For Language of Character Voices, however, your options are only between English, Japanese, and no voices.
You can't change the language settings of your text once you confirm your choice at the start of the game, so be sure to choose the one you're comfortable with! You can only change the Language of Character Voices between English and Japanese later on.
To change your settings to the language of your preference, go to the Sound tab under Sound settings in your Research Camp. There, you have the option to choose your preferred Language for Character Voices.
Changing your Language for Character Voices settings does not change the language of any of the written text of your game, including subtitles.
