How to Take Mew 1 Star Photo

Looking Back

Taking a 1 Star Photo of Mew requires you to throw the Fluffruit at the pink orb three times as it appears throughout the course. See the table below to learn how to get Mew's 1 Star Photo!

Start Jungle (Night) at Research Level 2. Press the Down D-Pad to quickly turn around and play the Melody. Aim your camera at the two Morelull for the pink orb to appear.

Wait for the pink orb to appear and throw a Fluffruit at it for Mew to appear for a split-second. If you miss the shot, restart the course and try again.

Proceed through the course as usual and wait for the orb to apppear for the second time. Throw a Fluffuit at it again.

Take the first Branch Route leading to a swamp with a Slaking and three Ariados.

Look to your right as the pink orb appears from that direction. Throw a Fluffruit at it for the third time.

As soon as you reach the ruins, play the Melody for Mew to appear. If the Pokemon does not appear, restart the course and try again.

Turn your direction towards the Liepard near the waterfall. Wait for Mew to appear and float away. Take a photo of it as it floats away while looking back to get the 1 Star Photo.

Start Jungle (Night) at Research Level 2. Press the Down D-Pad to quickly turn around and play the Melody. Aim your camera at the two Morelull for the pink orb to appear.

Wait for the pink orb to appear and throw a Fluffruit. If you miss the shot, restart the course and try again.

If done correctly, the pink orb transforms into Mew for a split-second before disappearing again. Take a photo of the Pokemon as soon as it appears to get its 2 Star Photo!
