For mei lin on the crit set, you want seths scarab and black wing. The 4 set only works on 1 cost cards. So it misses your 0 cost strikes and 2 cost payoff card.
the reason this of epiphany create 2 strike is because it "Upgrade" trait card, which is proc with Passion-4 set
what do you mean? I copied a unity of attack so I could cycle in more strikes ? Are you saying the epiphanies that lets you hit 2 x is worse than the one that draws 2 basic attack cards ?
The create 2 strikes epiphany on Unity of Attack and Defense is bad because it clogs your deck. The best option is the one that instead Move own 2 Basic Cards to hand. The Strikes will also be discounted to 0 cost and you get them moved to hand from your draw or discard pile. It's hands down the better option and you can safely duplicate it without having to worry about deck sizes..
