Attacks Outside of Playing Cards

Chaos Zero Nightmare - Extra Attack Card
Extra attack is a damage type from attacks outside of the card itself. For example, Veronica's Ballista explicitly says extra attack and will only activate at turn end before exhausting itself.

Scales Off Extra Damage, Attack and Attribute Damage Stat

Chaos Zero Nightmare - Extra Damage Stat
Generally, extra attacks deal more damage than regular attack cards as it can scale not only from attack, and attribute damage but also extra damage.

Morale Buffs Can Increase Extra Attack Damage

You can also increase the damage of extra attacks with buffs such as Morale.

Extra Attacks Can Critically Strike

Extra attacks can critically strike based on the character's critical chance and critical damage.

Does Not Count as an On-Hit Effect

Extra attacks does not interact with on-hit effects. For example, the enemy shown above has a passive that stacks whenever it is hit by an attack. 3 extra attacks were triggered because of Nia's Decibel but the enemy didn't gain any stacks.

Extra Attacks Cannot Reduce Tenacity Bar

Since extra attacks does not count for on-hit effects, that also affects tenacity damage. Extra attacks does not lower tenacity no matter how high the damage or cost is.
