Subtract Incoming Damage by a Flat 20% per Stack

Chaos Zero Nightmare - Fortitude Stacks
Each stack of fortitude subtracts a flat 20% to your attack cards or incoming damage. If your party has 3 fortitude and an enemy has a 119% damage attack, it will be 59% because of the 60% reduction.

100% Fortitude Does Not Negate All Damage

Chaos Zero Nightmare - Fortitude More Than 100
5 stacks of fortitude, which is -100% damage taken, does not mean all attacks will result to 0 damage. Fortitude can go beyond 100% because it only reduces it by a flat amount so a 211% enemy attack will turn to 111%.

Fortitude Does Not Expire After a Turn Unless Stated

Fortitude stacks will not expire until the end of the battle unless the card description states it is only for a turn or two.
