This is a guide to the Monster's Arena event in Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN). Learn about the event's features, and mechanics.

Monster's Arena Event Guide
Training Adds Monster Cards to this Game Mode's Combat
Before accessing the combat of the Arena, you can head to the event's Training feature. This will let you use Monster Cards temporarily for this game mode after defeating the specific monster for each training mode.
Training's Monster Cards Provides Set Bonuses to the Combatant

2-Set: Increase Damage Amount of Targeting Attack Cards with a 1-Hit Count by 150% 3-Set: At the start of the turn, 1 Vulnerable to all enemies |
| Giant’s Tyranny |
2-Set: When a 2-Cost or higher card is activated, 2 AP 4-Set: Add 1 Hit to 2-Cost or higher Attack Cards |
| Chain of Pain |
2-Set: When a harmful effect is applied, +20% Critical Chance for 1 turn 4-Set: On attack, increase Damage Amount by 25% for each different harmful effect on the target |
| Swift Suppression |
2-Set: When a card is used, all enemies’ Action Count +1 4-Set: Increase Damage Amount by 200% to enemies that have not acted |
| Tempest of Strikes |
2-Set: Increase Damage Amount of Attack Cards with a Hit Count of 2 or more by 150% 4-Set: When a card is activated, decrease Cost of a random card in hand by 1 until activated |
| Slaughter of the Battlefield |
2-Set: When an enemy is defeated with an All-Target Attack, activate a random card from the Draw Pile 3-Set: Increase Damage Amount of All-Target Attacks by 150% |
| Shield of Immortality |
2-Set: 10 Resolve, retain Shield 4-Set: When an Attack Card is activated, inflict Fixed Damage equal to 100% Shield Amount |
| Endless Insight |
2-Set: When a Draw effect other than Turn Draw is activated, add 1 Draw 4-Set: When Drawing through an ability, 2 Morale for 1 turn |
| Amplified Mana |
2-Set: When an Upgrade Card is activated, permanently decrease Cost of 3 random cards in hand by 1 4-Set: At the start of battle, Draw 5 Upgrade Cards |
| Price of the Void |
2-Set: Increase Damage Amount by 20% for each card in Exhaust Pile 4-Set: Each time a card is Exhausted, create a random Common Card, apply Evaporate to that card, and change Cost to 0 |
Aside from adding monster cards for you to use, each monster cards also have a set card group. Once the number of cards used are equal or greater than the set number requirement, their passive set effects will become active during the event's arena battles. Above are all the arena card sets available for the game mode.

| Arena 3 | Preliminary Round | If the monster does not have a harmful effect, decrease Damage Amount taken by the monster by 80% |
| Arena 4 | Preliminary Round | Decrease Damage Amount taken by monsters that have already acted by 80% |
| Arena 5 | Preliminary Round | Decrease Damage Amount taken by the monster by 80%, On Hit, reduction -10% |
| Arena 6 | Preliminary Round | Decrease Damage Amount of Targeting cards by 80% |
| Black Arena | Main Tournament | Unable to Heal, If there is no Shield, increase Damage taken by 50% |
| Steel Arena | Main Tournament | Decrease Turn Draw by 2 |
| Crimson Arena | Main Tournament | Increase Cost of Skill Cards by 1 |
| Abyss Arena | Main Tournament | At the start of every turn, generate 2 Abyssal Erosion cards in hand |
| Throne Arena | Championship Match | - |
Each Arena have unique rules and you'll need to assemble a team to offset these negative rules and their effects. There are 11 stages total and you'll need to use your assembled save data, the new monster cards added to it, as well as its set bonus effects to emerge victorious on the battles.
Monster's Arena Event Duration
Starts on March 18 Until April 8
The Monster's Arena event will begin on March 18th 2026 at the same time as the season 2's phase 3 update.
