The build revolves around using the Venom Baptism skill and reducing its cooldown to around 11 to 12 seconds to deal high skill damage to bosses with minimal downtime. The module that make this possible is the Multitalented module, which goes with other numerous Cooldown Reduction modules to achieve about 90% reduction.
Prioritize slotting in Cooldown Reduction, Skill Duration, and survival modules, then start building Skill Damage with Skill Critical modules for last. Once everything is in place, you should be able to take down bosses with ease!
Modules Guide: List of Modules
Module Change | Explanation | ||
---|---|---|---|
Increased HP | > | Battle of Stamina | Gives you less HP but allows you to have longer Skill Duration while using Venom Baptism |
Increased DEF | > | Spear and Shield | Gives you less DEF but increases your Skill Power by a noticeable amount |
Tech Specialist | > | Focus on Tech | Good to slot in if you're missing Cooldown Reduction |
Multitalented | > | Dangerous Ambush | Trades 20% cooldown for more damage, which is acceptable against bosses with long immunity time |
You can choose to replace the following modules to squeeze in more damage. Do note that although these can give you higher DPS, you would be trading comfort for damage.
Module Change | Explanation | ||
---|---|---|---|
Neurotoxin Synthesis | > | Contagion | Slot in Contagion to gain an poison explosion effect. which works well against mobs |
Tech Specialist | > | Focus on Tech | Good to slot in to get some Cooldown Reduction |
Toxic Master | > | Focus on Toxic | Good to add in to get more Cooldown Reduction |
Skill Extension | > | Skill Expansion | Skill Range is a lot more important than Skill Duration for both the poison puddles and Contagion |
Nimble Fingers | > | MP Collector | A valuable module that will allow you to spam your skills |
In the mobbing setup, we dial down the cooldown—just enough to have zero downtime with poison skills—to give way to more Skill Range. Partner the increased range with the Contagion mod, and you'll be applying continuous deadly poison in a wide area with Venom Trauma and Putrid Venom.
The rest of the modules are focused on survival, MP management, Cooldown Reduction, and Skill Damage Modifier. With enough Cooldown Reduction, you should have zero downtime with Venom Trauma and Putrid Venom even without increasing your Skill Duration.
Weapon | Substat Priority |
---|---|
Fallen Hope | • Round Per Magazine
• Bonus Firearm ATK (vs. Colossus) • Firearm ATK • Firearm Critical Rate • Firearm Critical Hit Damage • Weak Point Damage |
Python
(Optional) |
• Round Per Magazine
• Bonus Firearm ATK (vs. Colossus) • Firearm ATK • Firearm Critical Rate • Firearm Critical Hit Damage • Weak Point Damage |
The Fallen Hope is the best general weapon for Ultimate Freyna due to the weapon's unique ability, which allows you to apply poison to enemies and deal more Firearm ATK in the process. The Python is an optional weapon that shines against bosses due to its low Critical Hit Rate but high Weak Point Damage.
You can have both weapons equipped, with one functioning as a buffer for your Venom Baptism skill. This skill takes into consideration some weapon modules you have equipped, such as Rounds per Magazine and Fire Rate. Have one weapon focused on dealing damage, while the other serves as a placeholder for modules that will boost Venom Baptism.
Toxic Conductor | Concentrate Support Ammo | Action and Reaction | Weak Point Sight | Better Concentration |
Expand Weapon Charge | Better Insight | Toxic Enhancement | Fire Rate UP | Rifling Reinforcement |
More Modules can be seen by scrolling horizontally.
For weapon modules, you'd want to add modules that would give you Firearm ATK, Critical Hit Rate and Damage, and Weak Point Damage to significantly increase the damage of your weapon. Toxic Enhancement is a default module that fits the build but could be replaced with other elements depending on the enemies' weaknesses.
You'd also want to include modules that increase Fire Rate and Rounds per Magazine to be able to unleash more bullets with Venom Baptism. Other modules to consider would be Firing Fiesta and Better Weapon Weight. Both work with Venom Baptism, so you can slot them depending on whether you want more offense or defense.
Equipment | Substat Priority |
---|---|
Toxic Mechanics Reactor | • Additional Skill ATK When Attacking Colossus
• Skill Cooldown Reduction • Skill Critical Hit Rate • Skill Critical Hit Damage • Toxic Skill Power Boost Ratio • Tech Skill Power Boost Ratio |
Slayer Auxiliary Power | • Max HP

Slayer Sensor | • MP Recovery in Combat
• Max MP |
Slayer Memory | • Def
• Electric Resistance • MP Recovery Multiplier |
Slayer Processor | • Max Shield
• Toxic Resistance |
Note that External Components with set bonuses have fixed main stats.
The best to get Reactor is one that boosts Toxic and Tech because this goes well with all your offensive skills. For substats, we recommend prioritizing Additional Skill ATK When Attacking Colossus because, as per our testing, this gives you roughly a 20% damage increase. Aside from that, Cooldown Reduction or any other offensive substats would be great to have.
The best External Component set for Ultimate Freyna when it comes to boss fights is the Slayer Set. The 4-piece bonus will give you more magazine rounds, which translates to 4 more bullets with Venom Baptism. More importantly, this set will give you 24% Skill Power, which is an insane Skill Damage increase overall.
Equipment | Substat Priority |
---|---|
Toxic Mechanics Reactor | • Skill Cooldown Reduction
• Skill Range • Skill Critical Hit Rate • Skill Critical Hit Damage • Toxic Skill Power Boost Ratio • Tech Skill Power Boost Ratio |
Venom Essence Auxiliary Power | • Max HP
• Fire Resistance |
Venom Essence Sensor | • MP Recovery in Combat
• Max MP |
Venom Essence Memory | • Def
• Electric Resistance • MP Recovery Multiplier |
Venom Essence Processor | • Max Shield
• Toxic Resistance |
Note that External Components with set bonuses have fixed main stats.
Although not required, you can use alternative equipment to have a smoother experience when fighting mobs. You can swap the reactor with one that has substats that are more suited for general use, as mentioned above.
The change that will have the most impact would be swapping the Slayer set with the Venom Essence when mobbing. This is preferable since the set bonus would synergize better with Venom Trauma and Putrid Venom.

If you have the Multitalented module equipped, you must remember to always cast your Defense Mechanism skill before your Venom Baptism ends to take advantage of the 20% cooldown reduction coming from the module.
Note that casting Defense Mechanism before casting Venom Baptism would not give you a 20% cooldown reduction, as you only have 5 seconds to benefit from the buff, but the cooldown of Venom Baptism only starts after you've fired all the bullets or after the duration expires.
If you have the Firing Fiesta module equipped, you must remember to reload before activating your Venom Baptism to benefit from the 3 second period of unlimited ammo. You can immediately click Venom Baptism without completing the reload, as the buff will be applied as soon as the reload bar appears.
Keep in mind that Firing Fiesta has a cooldown period, so make sure that it's up before casting Venom Baptism.

Since your main source of damage is your Toxic Attacks, shooting an enemy to apply Poison should be enough to kill them due to the DoT effect. To make this build effective, you need to make sure that you are applying the poison before moving to the next target.
Use Toxic Enhancement to apply Toxic to your attacks, which is a direct increase to your overall damage since it would be scaling based on your Firearm ATK. Additionally, increasing your chances of inflicting status effects can be achieved by getting the Attribute Status Effect Trigger Rate from substats.
You will also be using Fallen Hope to get the Perdition unique ability. This triggers an explosion upon killing an enemy, which has a chance to spread poison to nearby enemies.
Reactor | Substat Priority |
---|---|
Toxic Mechanics Reactor | ・Toxic Skill Power Boost Ratio ・Skill Duration Up |
Using a Toxic Mechanics Reactor will give you the most bonus effects since almost all of Ultimate Freyna's abilities are tagged as Toxic and Tech. For the substats, try to look for Toxic Skill Power Boost Ratio and Skill Duration Up to further improve the effectiveness of your skills.

The Swamp Recon set boosts your Toxic Skill Power and also provides Firearm Attribute Effect Trigger Rate with Skill Duration. This makes it much easier for you to apply Poison to enemies.

This Ultimate equipment is an emission-type Arche user specialized battlesuit, which has been modified based on Viessa's Ultimate equipment Absolute-Zero.
A cursory look at it might lead one to think the gear is just a variant of Absolute-Zero, but the real beauty of this Ultimate Project is the special heavy industrial chemical toxin filtration unit created specifically for Freyna.
The original filtration unit that Freyna had equipped could no longer handle the control and distribution of these chemicals. This strained her body as her Arche grew more powerful. This theoretically implied a fatal limit existing, where she would be forced to stop the growth of her Arche in order to survive.
However, with the help of a filtration unit applied with the Ancestors' technology, Freyna gained tremendous power to change the formula of her Toxic Arche at any moment and to release as much of it as she wanted.
This boost in performance has also transformed her own mindset when it comes to her trauma. She has become a dominator of nightmares, dominating the nightmares of her enemies as well as her own.
