Inversion Reinforcement in The First Descendant is a buff that changes depending on the season's content. Read on to learn how to unlock, use, and progress the Inversion Reinforcer with this guide.
List of Contents
To obtain the Inversion Reinforcer, Descendants must complete the Altered Design quest. It is part of the Mysterious Phenomena questline, which can be unlocked after completing all of the Main Quest.
Steps on How to Use Inversion Reinforcement |
---|
|
After completing the Altered Design quest, the Inversion Reinforcer can be accessed by clicking on the icon in the lower left corner of the player's inventory.
By spending Reinforcement Energy, players can unlock Inversion Reinforcement Effects that provide buffs and debuffs to their Descendant. In order to unlock subsequent nodes, previous nodes must first be unlocked.
Nodes can be reset at any time on the Inversion Reinforcement screen at no additional cost. This makes it easier to experiment with offsetting the debuffs some nodes provide, and to refine a player's build.
Currently, there are 5 types of Reinforcement Effects. They are Hunt, Attribute, Recovery, Survival, and Season. Activating all nodes in the same row will activate that row's Collection Effect, which is located in the rightmost node.
The Inversion Reinforcement Effect will apply to all of the player's Descendants.
There are limitations to the Inversion Reinforcer that can make building a character around it quite tricky. Only a maximum of three Inversion Reinforcement effects can be active at any one time.
Then, two effects on the same line cannot be activated at the same time. For example, in the Hunt tree, you cannot have Biodensity Enhancement and Shield Particle Enhancement enabled at the same time.
To increase the level of the Inversion Reinforcer, players would have to collect Ironheart Particles. Each region would have a list of objectives and activities that the player would need to complete in hard mode in order to obtain Ironheart Particles.
The player can see how many more Ironheart Particles are needed to level by checking the Inversion Reinforcement screen.
