Kill Enemies for Drops

The First Descendant - Enemy Drops

The most basic method of getting weapons is by simply defeating enemies and picking up any weapons they drop. As you level up and progress through the main quest so does your weapon level. This lets you inevitably obtain powerful weapons with high DPS.

You can also get weapons by clearing bosses in Void Intercept Battles. You can talk to Seneca in Albion to join these boss fights either solo or with a group of other players.

Ultimate Weapon Research

Weapons can also crafted at the Research Lab. To craft weapons, you will need to raise your mastery rank to a specified level, spend the required gold, then wait a certain amount of time.

First Descendant - Unique Weapon Unique Ability

Ultimate Weapons can be acquired by crafting them in Albion with Anais. Crafting Ultimate Weapons will require some very rare materials that you can acquire either by looting in missions or by crafting as well.

In addition, Ultimate weapons can also be obtained as rewards from the Premium Battle Pass, which you can get by paying to upgrade the Battle Pass.

How to Change Weapons and Dismantle Weapons

Step Description

The First Descendant - Opening Inventory
To change weapons, open the Inventory screen from the game's menu and select the weapon you have equipped.

The First Descendant - Move to an Open Slot
Select which weapon you want to use from the list of weapons you own then move it to the slot on the right.

The First Descendant - Sort Function Weapons
Sort the weapons by DPS to see which ones deal the most damage. It can get overwhelming seeing the choices for your weapon but this option helps you make that decision.

Dismantle Weapons in Inventory Screen

For weapons you wish to dispose of, you can discard or dismantle them for parts in the Inventory Screen. This is great for freeing up space in your Inventory to make room for stronger weapons.

How to Switch Weapons in Combat

Switch Weapons by Pressing Triangle

The First Descendant - Switch Weapons with Triangle

If you want to switch weapons during battle, you may do so by pressing the triangle button. If you want to switch to your third equipped weapon, you can do so by holding down the the triangle button.

Use Number Keys For PC

Players using mouse and keyboard on PC can switch guns by pressing either 1, 2, or 3.
