| Steps | Instructions |
| 1 |  Open the Map screen. For PC users, simply press M. |
| 2 |  Select Social on the right side. |
| 3 |  Select a Player from the Local Players or your Friends list, then click Party Invitation Alternatively, you can also search players. |
| 4 |  Wait for the user to accept your invitation. Once a party is formed, you can do Void Intercept Battles or the entire campaign together with your party members. You can have up to 4 members. |
There Are Some Issues Occurring in Multiplayer
As of July 3, 2024, there's a current issue where despite sending friend requests, certain players are unable to start multiplayer mode. However, players on the Steam version can successfully host and initiate multiplayer sessions by sending invitations directly through Steam.
Is There Multiplayer in the First Descendant?
Yes, there is Multiplayer
You can team up with up to four players to cooperatively take down raid bosses in Void Intercept Battles, or even complete the main campaign together!
Public Mode and Private Mode
You can also select Public mode for the zone you enter! Public mode allows you to play with all other players, while Private mode allows you to play alone or with your party. You can change between Public and Private through the map screen wherever you are.
Is there PVP in the First Descendant?
There is no PVP
Currently, PvP is not a feature in The First Descendant, as the game prioritizes cooperative gameplay experiences. Players collaborate to overcome challenges rather than competing against each other directly.
