How to Beat Dead Bride

Tips for Defeating Dead Bride

Hard Mode Guide

Aim for the Shoulders and Knees

The First Descendant - Aim for the Knees and Shoulders

Aim to attack Dead Bride's shoulders and knees as these are its weak points. Since these parts are exposed, they should be easy to hit and once they turn yellow, you can follow up with your grapple to deal even more damage.

Avoid the Red Floor

The First Descendant - Avoid the Red Floor

Be mindful of the battle area and avoid stepping on the floor when it turns red. This deals damage to you and coming into contact with it for too long can cost you a ton of HP.

Dodge the Ice Attacks

If you get targeted by Dead Bride's ice attack, move to the side to avoid it. Even if you aren't the target, be sure to keep your distance until after the attack is done.

Avoid the Dome Attack

The First Descendant - Avoid the Dome Attack

Upon filling up her Frenzy Meter, she will become immune to damage and cast her Dome Attack so if you see this almost full, start running away from her. She will teleport around the area so keep an eye on her as this will also determine where the dome spawns.

When Going Berserk, Aim for the Blaster

The First Descendant - Aim for the Blaster

When the purple gauge under Dead Bride's HP is full, it will go into a rampage. While in this state, you can only damage the stick protruding from the blaster. Focus your attacks on this to deal damage.

Aim to Break Her Shield Under 6 Minutes

Focus on breaking her shield as quickly as possible since her shield is higher than her actual HP. If Dead Bride still has a shield with 4 minutes remaining, this indicates that your team lacks the DPS to take her down and you will more than likely fail to defeat her.

List of All Builds

Prioritize Destroying the KingFishers

The First Descendant - Prioritize Destroying the KingFishers

When Dead Bride calls in KingFishers, be sure to take these out immediately as these will just attack you when ignored. Destroying them will drop bullets and recovery items.

Change Your Weapon's Elemental Damage Depending on the Weakness

Be sure to equip your weapon with the appropriate elemental damage that matches the weakness of this boss. You can change your weapon's element through the use of Weapon Modules or Weapon Options via the Workbench in Albion.

You can't get The Tamer before beating Dead Bride the first time, as the zone to acquire it is gated by this encounter.
