How to Get External Components

Complete Requirements in the Acquisition Info

The only way to get external components is by completing the requirements that are found in the component's Acquisition Info.

How to Access Module Acquisition Info

Open the Access Info menu. This can be done by opening the world map and then selecting the Access Info tab. Then go to the External Components screen.

In the External Components screen, hover over a component, then press the Acquisition Info button to open it.

How to Equip External Components

Go to the Inventory Screen

To equip external components, open first the Inventory screen. From there, click on any of the slots under External Components to go to the external components screen.

Select an External Components to Equip

Once inside the external components screen, simply select the external component you want to equip and drag it to its corresponding slot. Be guided by the images inside the slot to know what external component goes inside it.

How to Dismantle External Components

Mark External Components as Junk

In the External Components screen, mark all the external components for dismantling as junk. External components that have a trash can icon on them are marked as junk.

Press the Dismantle Button

Once external components are marked, just press the button for Dismantle Junk.

Obtain Materials After Dismantling

Dismantling external components gives you Void Organisms. They are research materials that can be used to craft weapons or make descendants, so they're valuable resources.

Has Sets to Improve Efficiency

Some Ultimate and Rare external components belong to a set. When 2 or 4 components of a set are equipped, additional bonuses are given.

Can Only be Obtained by Completing Certain Requirements

The only way to get external components is by completing the requirements that are found in the component's Acquisition Info. These requirements may be in the form of missions or tasks. Once the requirements are fulfilled, they are automatically stored in your external component inventory.

Can Only Equip One Component Per Slot

There are four types of external components; Auxiliary Power, Memory, Processor, and Sensor. You can only equip one components per slot, so it's best to equip the one that best suits your build.

Purchase Additional Slots

You can increase your inventory size by purchasing additional slots using Caliber, which costs real money. This allows you to equip additional external components.

To purchase additional slots, go to the Inventory screen first, then select the Purchase Slot just underneath the External Components section.

Can Be Dismantled for Void Organisms

Dismantling external components gives you Void Organisms in return. Void Organisms are Research Materials that are used to make weapons or descendants in the game, so these are valuable materials.
