How to Beat Death Stalker

Tips for Defeating Death Stalker

Avoid the Rings by Double Jumping

In randomized intervals, the Death Stalker will send out a high-damaging ring of bones. To avoid this, simply double jump or use your grapple hook. As an additional tip, you can lure the Death Stalker down the ramps or position below elevated ground to completely avoid the ring!

Bring Ajax or Yujin

The fight against the Death Stalker itself is straightforward as most of her mechanics are easily resolved. However, the Death Stalker decimates squads without cooperation, defense, and prior knowledge of the right positioning. To make the fight easier to learn, bring an Ajax or Yujin!

Slot in Perfect Antivenom

To further increase your chances of survival, bring Perfect Antivenom to negate the damage over time you receive from The Death Stalker's toxic attacks!

Shoot the Floating Skulls

Death Stalker will occasionally fire slow ghastly green skulls that home in on you and your squad, dealing absurd amounts of damage when they reach their target. Take some time to shoot down these skulls as they are quite fragile!

Use the Clocks to Remove the Marks

During the fight, you will notice green marks circling you. Those are the marks of impending doom the Death Stalker has inflicted on you, lowering your total health depending on the amount of stacks you have.

Amassing more than 4 stacks will result in guaranteed death. You can remove these marks by standing in the vicinity of the clocks the Death Stalker periodically spawns.

Find the Skull Covering its Eyes

When the Death Stalker enters its enraged state, it will spawn randomized puppets around the area. You and your squad's job is to split up and find the correct puppet, which holds the visage of a skull covering its face. If you are not successful and the center bar fills up, the Death Stalker will wipe the party.

After finding this puppet, quickly communicate to your team so that you can position yourself around its radius. Standing there for a set amount of time will destroy the puppet and end the Death Stalker's enraged state.

Avoid the Smiling Puppets

While you are trying to find the correct puppet, you will often come upon creepy ones with the same face as the Death Stalker when unmasked. Going near its vicinity will deal massive damage to you, so be mindful of your surroundings!
