While there is no fall damage in The First Descendant, falling from a certain height will cause staggering. This results in a brief moment of being unable to control your character and leaves you vulnerable, so exercise caution when navigating high places, especially if there are enemies around.

Are There Penalties For Falling Off Edges?

There Are No Fall Penalties

In The First Descendant, falling off edges incurs no penalties. Even if you drop off a cliff, there are no consequences or damage to worry about. If you do fall, you'll automatically respawn at the base of that edge.
