Maximizing the Max Rounds Module

The First Descendant - Void Battles

You can trick the game by increasing the maximum ammo you can carry without equipping the module on your main weapon. The trick is to equip a secondary weapon that uses the same bullet type as your main weapon, and have it equipped with the module that increases ammo capacity for that bullet type.

When you pick up ammo for your main weapon, switch to your secondary weapon until the ammo's maxed out. Then switch back to your main weapon, and you'll see that the increased maximum rounds have carried over. This frees up a slot for an additional module on your main weapon to maximize its damage potential.

Scan Bosses to Show the Frenzy Meter

Hard Mode Void Bosses

The Frenzy Meter is the purple bar below the boss's name, which shows how soon the boss will become immune / trigger its unique mechanic. This is especially helpful to make the team prepare for the boss's frenzied state.

Resetting Outpost Timers

The First Descendant - Miragestone Vulgus Strategic Outpost Mission

Teleporting to another location and going back to the outpost you desire will completely remove its cooldown timer, allowing you to do the outpost in fast successions. This is better done in a private lobby to remove the possibility of other players finishing the outpost before you, activating its cooldown timer.

Prioritize Adding Socket Types to Modules with High Capacity Cost

The First Descendant - Module Sockets

The Crystallization Catalyst can be used to add module socket types to module slots in both weapons and Descendants. Module sockets will halve the capacity cost of a module matching the socket type, allowing room for additional modules.

It's recommended to prioritize adding socket types to match modules with a high capacity cost, typically those with a cost of 16, reducing them to 8. This will free up an additional 8 more in capacity for modules.

Do Encrypted Vaults as a Group

The rewards you get from Encrypted Vaults will be shared with your whole team, and it'll only use up one Code Breaker or Code Analyzer, so it's recommended to unlock encrypted vaults as a group.

Use Enzo to Unlock Encrypted Vaults

Enzo increases the rewards of the Encrypted Vaults he unlocks, and he makes the minigame slightly easier. It's definitely worth unlocking Enzo if you plan on farming Encrypted Vaults.

Equip the Mid-Air Maneuvering Module

The First Descendant - Grappling Hook

The Mid-Air Maneuvering module allows you to grapple anywhere, even without a grapple point, allowing better manueverability especially in combat. This is also extremely useful in dodging certain boss attacks to avoid being killed, which reduces the limited revives during Intercept Battles.

Achieve Successful Infiltration with Sharen

The First Descendant - Sharen

Zone Recon Missions have additional rewards for Successful Infiltrations, meaning that you've finished the activity by destroying the power unit without being spotted by the enemy. Sharen is a must-use character in these types of challenges due to her Active Camouflage skill, which hides her from enemies.
