As of Version 1.1.0 Update, the best way to farm Kuiper Shards while getting tons of EXP and proficiency, you can farm Kuiper Shards in Kuiper Mine found in Sterile Lands. With a Bunny or Valby solo, you can gain up to 15000 or more Kuiper Shards per run, which takes about 5 minutes per run.

Get a Squad of Bunnies for Abandoned Refinery Unit

Another great way to farm Kuiper Shards is by repeatedly running Abandoned Refinery Unit with a squad of Bunnies in Sterile Lands. After each run that can last about a minute, you will get about 3000-4000 Kuiper Shards!

Participate in a Valby Farm

If you plan on farming up on Gold while getting some Kuiper Shards, it is recommended to do the Valby Farm found in the Defense Line Outpost at Fortress. Every three minutes, you can gain up to 13000 Kuiper Shards, excluding the additional Kuiper Shards you get from the multitude of Modules you will gain throughout this run!

While this farm received a nerf, it only targeted the amount of EXP you gain per run. In terms of Kuiper and Gold gain, it is still a respectable and efficient farm to do, albeit it is a shadow of its former self due to luck getting involved.

Use Auxiliary Powers with Kuiper Shard Drop Rate Modifier

The Auxiliary Power external component has a substat that increases the drop rate of Kuiper Shards. The ones with higher rarity will yield an increased amount of kuiper shards. Whenever you farm for Kuiper Shards, make sure to equip one with this particular substat!
