Current Season

Season 1: Invasion

The First Descendant - Season 1 Invasion
The first season of The First Descendant, Season 1 Invasion, is live as of August 29, 2024. Season 1 includes the new descendant Hailey together with Ultimate Freyna and her questline, as well as the new Inversion Reinforcement that promises seasonal upgrades!

Season 1 is expected to last until late November, just before the start of Season 2 in early December!

Seasonal Battle Pass

The First Descendant - Battle Pass
Each season's release introduces a new Battle Pass where players can receive rewards such as exclusive cosmetics and additional resources as they progress through each Tier. The First Descendant's Battle Pass comes with a Free and Premium version.

Players can progress the pass by finishing daily and weekly challenges, missions, and successful intercept battles. Progressing the Battle Pass will also reward you Supply and Bonus Coins, allowing you to spend them on more rarities!

Inversion Reinforcement

The First Descendant - Inversion Reinforcement
Implemented during Season 1, Inversion Reinforcements are cyclical upgrades you can slot into as you progress through the current season. These reinforcements are designed to help you address that season's content, which changes to a different set with the next season!

How Do Seasons Work?

Introduce New Content and Gameplay Features

Each season introduced in The First Descendant will update the game with more content, having set patterns to include new Descendants, Weapons, and Void Interceptions.

Furthermore, Nexon plans on adding more questlines per descendant, as well as brand-new gameplay features and quality-of-life changes.
