Tips for Defeating Devourer |
---|
|
Aim to attack Devourer's shoulders and knees as these are its weak points. Since these parts are exposed, they should be easy to hit and once they turn yellow, you can follow up with your grapple to deal even more damage.
Since Devourer utilizes the Toxic attribute, it is highly recommended that you equip any modules that are resistant to poison. If you still have a hard time with the poison, try getting the antidote from the Agna Desert mission as this prevents you from getting poisoned.
Modules Guide: List of All Mods
Use your Ecive near Devourer to scan for weaknesses and reveal a pink bar under its HP bar also known as the Frenzy Meter. This bar indicates how much damage you can deal before Devourer becomes immune.
Before this bar is full, make sure everyone on your team is ready with their abilities to attack the Symbionts.
Once you see Symbionts appear, make it your top priority to destroy them as you won't be able to damage Devourer while these are up. You can find the location of these Symbionts by looking at the green line coming out from Devourer.
Devourer has toxic crystals that deal damage to anyone that comes into contact with them. You can use your double jump or grappling hook to maneuver around these to avoid losing HP unnecessarily.
The Tamer is a Rare Machine Gun that has excellent damage, a fast rate-of-fire, and a high magazine capacity, resulting in one of the best DPS weapons that you can use to quickly defeat this boss.
