This page answers what the max level is in The First Descendant (TFD). Read on to learn about the max Descendant Level, max Mastery Rank, max Weapon Proficiency, and other upgradeables in the game.
The level cap for Descendants is 40. However, each Descendant has their level, which must be leveled up separately. This means that progress made with one Descendant does not carry over to others, requiring you to individually develop each character to reach the maximum level.
EXP Farming Guide: How to Level Up Fast
The highest Mastery Rank you can achieve in The First Descendant is Mastery Rank 30. Unlike Descendant levels, which can be increased through regular gameplay with individual characters, Mastery Rank is significantly more challenging to level up.
The max level for weapons is 100. You can only reach this level by acquiring weapons of level 100 and using Weapon Level Transmission to transfer their level to your lower-level weapons.
The max Proficiency Level for each weapon type is 40. To level up Weapon Proficiency, you must consistently use a particular firearm type. This means the more you use a specific firearm in combat, the higher your proficiency with that weapon type will become, ultimately reaching the maximum level of 40.
The maximum upgrade level for Modules is 5 or 10. This limit determines the extent to which Modules can be enhanced and optimized for various gameplay advantages and tactical benefits. You can upgrade your modules through Silion, the Module Master, in Albion. Enhancing modules requires Module Duplicates and Kuiper Shards.
The maximum enhancement level for Reactors is 2. Reactors enhance the Descendant's performance, particularly when paired with matching skills, offering potent boosts. You can upgrade reactors through the Workbench in Albion, requiring Ion Accelerators to enhance their capabilities.
The maximum enhancement level for a weapon's unique ability is 4. Enhancing a weapon's unique ability increases its strength and effectiveness in combat. To enhance it, you'll need a duplicate of the weapon with the unique ability. This enhancement process can be performed through the Workbench in Albion, requiring Fine Adjustment Control Axis and Gold as materials for the upgrades.
