This guide covers how to refill your ammo in The First Descendant and explores tips on conserving your ammo during tough and prolonged fights. Read on to learn more about ammunition, how to refill ammo, and how to conserve ammo!
Enemies drop ammo when you defeat them in The First Descendant, and you can refill your ammunition by picking them up. These come in purple, green, orange, and white variants, so it's essential to collect them regularly, especially when your ammunition runs low.
Ammo Type | Weapon Class |
---|---|
General Rounds | Submachine Guns, Machine Guns, Assault Rifles, Handguns |
Special Rounds | Hand Cannon, Scout Rifle |
Impact Rounds | Beam Rifles, Tactical Launchers |
High-Power Rounds | Launchers, Sniper Rifles, Shotguns |
In The First Descendant, players can pick up four types of ammunition, each color-coded for specific weapon classes. General Rounds (White) suit submachine guns, machine guns, assault rifles, and handguns. Special Rounds (Green) are for hand cannons and scout rifles. High Impact Rounds (Orange) fit beam rifles and tactical launchers while High-Power Rounds (Purple) are used with launchers, sniper rifles, and shotguns, and are the least frequent to drop.
There are resource boxes scattered across the zones to replenish your ammunition. Breaking these boxes ensures you stay well-armed and ready for any encounters!
Interacting with resource droids scattered across the map provides a source of ammunition. These helpful droids not only replenish your ammunition but also restore your HP!
During intense boss fights, maintaining a steady supply of ammunition is crucial. To refill your ammo, focus on attacking the mobs that spawn throughout the battle. These smaller enemies often drop various types of ammo upon defeat, allowing you to replenish your reserves without breaking the flow of combat.
Strategically targeting and eliminating these mobs can ensure you have the necessary ammunition to continue your assault on the boss.
All Void Intercept Battle Bosses
Managing your ammo supply during boss fights is critical. To avoid running out of ammunition, don't rely solely on one weapon class.
Instead, have different weapon types to conserve ammo and take advantage of the varied ammo drops from defeated mobs. This approach prevents depleting one ammo type too quickly and allows you to adapt to the changing demands of the battle.
