This build focuses on increasing HP and DEF to allow Ultimate Ajax to tank a significant amount of damage from bosses and mobs. You will also be adding Shields which will be converted to HP through the Overwhelming HP module. This will ensure that you will get as much HP as possible to further increase his durability and survivability in battle.

Additionally, since you'll also be equipped with modules that decrease Skill Cooldowns, you'll be able to spam the Orbit Barrier and Hypercube abilities to constantly provide protection and support for your team.

You can swap out your modules with the ones shown above to extend the duration of your Shield Barrier skills during boss fights. Since most bosses rely on range attacks, your Barrier skills will come in extremely handy to shield yourself from harm, as well as your teammates.

The Tamer is best used with modules that enhance the Weak Point Damage stat, since you'll be firing on a boss's vital body parts for the most part. Combine this with modules that also up the effectiveness of Firearm ATK, Critical Hit Rate and Damage, and you'll be killing bosses with little to no difficulty.

The same goes for Thunder Cage, with increased Firearm ATK and Critical Hit Rate, as well as this SMG's ability to discharge Electric Shockwaves, you will be able to clear out large mobs with your weapon's immense firepower.

As Ultimate Ajax, you will be taking a lot of damage since you will be taking on the Tank role. Thus, the Annihilation Set will be the most beneficial to you since this set increases the damage of your weapon depending on the amount of HP lost. Facetank Damage While Attacking a Boss

With the Annihilation Set equipped, try to take damage while firing at the boss. The set will increase your weapon's damage the lesser HP that you have.

Deploy Barrier Skills at the Correct Time

Only use the Orbit Barrier skill when a boss is firing at you to reflect the damage back to them. For the Hypercube skill, you can use this when an ally is down as this skill summons a dome-shaped shield which protects you from enemy fire in all directions while you help out your teammate.

We went with Greg's Reversed Fate as the best weapon for Ajax due to its unique ability to call bombardments, adding mob-clearing potential for Ajax. Since this build for Ajax mainly focuses on defense and crowd control, the main damage source will be from the weapons.

The weapon's modules focus on Critical Hit Rate, Weak Point Damage, and Firearm ATK to instantly kill mobs, and deal high DPS to bosses.
You can also use the Tamer which is a great weapon for mob-clearing and Void Bosses to accompany Greg's Reversed Fate.

Using a Materialized Phase Reactor will give you the most bonus effects since most of Ajax's abilities are Non-Attribute and Dimension skills. For the substats, try to look for Non-Attribute Skill Boost Ratio and Tech Skill Boost Ratio or Dimension Skill Boost Ratio to improve the effectiveness of your skills.

The Tomb Vanguard Set will be enough to withstand incoming damage in Normal Mode. It also enhances Skill Power to further increase damage of Ultimate Ajax's Expulsion and Void Walk skills.

We highly recommend this set in early game as it is very easy to get, since you will only need to defeat Grave Walker on Common Difficulty.

As it stands, they reconstructed as much of it as they could based on those remains and the fragmented blueprints. However, given its overwhelming power, despite its low reproduction ratio, the Magisters speculate that the original version of this Ultimate equipment was fitted with a battlesuit that rivaled that of a Colossus.
