How to Beat Frost Walker

Destroy its Parts Fast for Flame Drops

Destroy the Frost Walker's parts for it to drop its embers. It's important to destroy its parts fast because you'll need a total of 6 embers to survive its wipe mechanic.

Frost Walker Wipe Mechanic Guide

The Frost Walker's wipe mechanic happens around 7:30 in the boss timer. By this time, one of your teammates should have already collected 6 embers for your team to survive the wipe.

If none of your team has 6 stacks of ember, your whole team will freeze and wipe instantly. After a wipe, all death counts are consumed and your team will fail the intercept.

Assign a Runner

Frost Walker Embers
Your team will need a dedicated runner who will collect 6 embers before the 7:30 mark. Your runner should not go near the Frost Walker or get hit by its missiles as it can cause them to lose their ember stacks.

If your runner has collected 6 embers in time, your team should group up on the runner's position to survive the wipe. If a person freezes during the mechanic, the runner can go to their position to unfreeze them.

Other Team Roles

The rest of the team will focus on destroying Frost Walker parts and calling out ember drops when they see them. While the Frost Walker is in a frenzied state, the rest of the team should bait the Frost Walker away from the embers so the runner can collect them.

Destroy its Knees

Frost Walker Knees
You'll need to destroy the Frost Walker's knees to remove it from its frenzied state. Unlike the Grave Walker and Swamp Walker, the Frost Walker moves around while in a frenzied state, making it harder to destroy.
