How to Infiltrate Outposts

Go to Any Zone Recon Mission

To start infiltrating outposts, go to any Zone Recon Mission. These are highlighted in yellow with a question mark icon on the map.

Disable the Power Units

Once at the Zone Recon Mission, you will have to disable three power units by shooting them down. Keep in mind that waves of enemies will continuously spawn as you do this, so it might be useful to have a friend or two to help you out.

Use Sharen's Camouflage Skill (Stealth Method)

If you plan on going for the additional infiltration rewards, you will need Sharen unlocked in order to use her camouflage skill to avoid being detected by enemies at an outpost.

The only way to achieve a successful infiltration is to disable the power units without being seen by enemies. While camouflaged, approach each of the three power units and hit Operate Device when prompted to disable them.

Defeat the Outpost Boss

After disabling the power units, defeat the mini-boss that will spawn to complete the outpost infiltration.

Weapons, Materials, and Modules

Clearing an outpost will reward you with Weapons, Modules, as well as rare Materials.

Additional Shape Stabilizer and Amorphous Material

If you've disabled the power units while remaining undetected, you'll have a chance of obtaining an additional Shape Stabilizer and Amorphous Material Pattern.

Do note that if you get caught by any enemy while disabling the power units, you will be disqualified from obtaining the additional rewards and you will only get the standard rewards.
