How to Increase Inventory Space

Increase Mastery Rank to Free Up Space

The First Descendant - Mastery Rank How to Increase Inventory

You can increase your Mastery Rank by collecting experience points called Mastery EXP when completing missions. As you level up your Mastery Rank, your inventory capacity will also expand.

So, when you're ready to rank up, head over to the Prime Hands and upgrade your Mastery Rank. You can find the Prime Hands inside a room on the right side of Albion, near the city entrance.

What to Do When Your Inventory is Full

What to Do When Inventory is Full

Discard Unused Weapons, Reactors, and External Components

Leaving unnecessary Weapons, Reactors, and External Components will clog your inventory, blocking you from acquiring new items. If your inventory is full and you can't pick up new weapons or equipment, head to the Inventory menu. Check the list of weapons and equipment you own, and dispose of any unnecessary items as junk.

Dismantle Items Designated as Junk

The First Descendant - Dismantled Weapon
To keep things flowing smoothly, make a habit of dismantling Weapons, Reactors, and External components you no longer need. This transforms them into valuable materials like Super Alloy and Liquid Metal, perfect for future research and upgrades.

Diligently Discard Reactors

Reactors are the main culprits for quickly filling up your inventory. While they enhance your Descendant's basic abilities and are often received as quest rewards, since you can only use one at a time, it's advisable to begin disposing Reactors of lower rarity.

Sell Unused Weapons, Reactors, and External Components

The First Descendant - Sell Items
Selling your items or junk to Deslin in Albion is an option, but it's less profitable since gold is easily obtained. It's often better to dismantle items instead for useful materials.

Make Use of Your Storage Box

The First Descendant - Storage Box
If you're unsure about which items to dispose of, dismantle, or sell, consider using your Storage Box to store them for later. Storage Boxes can be found in Albion and in other zones. Keep in mind that the Storage Box starts with a limit of 78 slots. To expand it, you'll need to purchase additional slots using Caliber.

Step Instructions
1
In the inventory menu, select the items you want to discard or dismantle for parts.

After selecting which Weapon, Reactor, or External Component to dismantle, mark them by pressing the junk button. Once done, all selected items will now have an orange garbage can icon, indicating they are marked as junk.
3
Long-press the dismantle button or key to dismantle all the marked junk items. This will break down all the items you selected, and you'll receive all the dismantled parts collectively afterward.
