Equip Modules that Increase Module Capacity

The First Descendant - Shock Punch How to Increase Module Capacity
There are Sub-Modules and Special Modules that let you increase Module Capacity, like Shock Punch or Long-Distance Maneuvering. They mitigate the cost of their own Module Capacity, letting you expand your loadout options.

What is Module Capacity?

A Limit on How Many Modules You Can Equip

Each module requires a specific Module Capacity to equip. If your desired module exceeds your maximum Module Capacity, you won't be able to equip it. In that case, you'll have to swap out some of the modules already equipped. Your module capacity for your current loadout is displayed at the upper left corner of the screen under Details.

Here's a cool tidbit: the maximum Module Capacity for Descendant Modules and Weapon Modules are separate! So, equipping a Descendant Module won't affect the Module Capacity for Weapons, and vice versa.

Wrong. Mastery does not increase module capacity whatsoever. It only affects your base capacity when level 1. Otherwise it's max 80 or 85 if you polarize your sub attack slot.
