Farm in Extermination Missions in Hard Mode

Code Breakers drop only from defeating Hard Mode enemies. Extermination Missions are the best way since they spawn the most enemies and are quick to finish depending on your build! These are the recommended missions to do for farming Code Breakers:

• Sterile Land - Anticipated Ambush Point
• Echo Swamp - Abandoned Refinery Unit

The recommended character to quickly farm Code Breakers is Bunny due to her ability to clear hordes of enemies in a flash with her kit. Doing so is also easy since you only need to be in motion to maintain Lightning Emission consistently!

How to Use Code Breaker

Use to Open Encrypted Vaults

Encrypted Vaults in Hard Mode use Code Breakers instead of Code Analyzers. This means that if you want to open Encrypted Vaults in Hard Mode, Code Analyzers won't work. You'll have to use Code Breakers to open them.

Complete the Minigame

Once you've used a Code Breaker to open an Encrypted Vault, a minigame will start. To play it, you simply have to stop the rotating pointer on the target.

Make sure to hit the target, because if you fail, you won't be able to retry and you'll lose the Code Breaker permanently.

Difference From Precision Code Breaker and Ultra-Precision Code Breaker

Increased Difficulty in Encrypted Vault Minigame

The main difference between the Code Breaker, Precision Code Breaker and the Ultra-Precision Code Breaker is the difficulty they provide when used to decrypt or open Encrypted Vaults.

The Code Breaker sets the difficulty to easy when doing the minigame. The Precision Code Breaker increases this difficulty, with the Ultra-Precision Code Breaker providing the most difficulty if used.
