You can unlock Follow Their Traces by talking to Alpha in Albion. Just make sure to use Bunny as your main descendant to access the quest!

How to Start Follow Their Traces

Unlock and Use Bunny

You can access Bunny's quest lines as soon as you unlock her in the game. Once you have her, simply switch your descendant to Bunny and you'll immediately unlock her quest lines.

As you progress through A Mission for Bunny and What Kind of Records Are These? quests, you'll eventually unlock Follow Their Traces.

Read the Transcript of Operation Records

After receiving the Transcript of Operation Records from A Mission for Bunny, Follow Their Traces will immediately follow.

To read the record, open the map and switch to the Journal tab. Choose Records, and you'll find the Descendant Records containing the Transcript. Simply select it to read.

Progress to Unlock Restricted Zone

Next, you must progress through the main story until you unlock the Restricted Zone in Sterile Lands. This involves meeting Sharen in Sterile Lands, progressing through the Repository Region, and eventually unlocking the Restricted Zone after completing a few objectives.

Before you can start this sub-quest, you will need to go to the Sterile Land region which can be unlocked as you progress through the main story.

Head to the cliff near the High-Powered Jammer in the Restricted Zone and interact with the gadget to pick up the records. Open your Journal and click on the entry to read the records to complete this sub-quest.

Entire Questline Rewards

The Follow Their Traces quest itself will not reward you with anything upon completion, as it serves solely as a branching quest. However, completing Bunny's entire questline will reward you with a Crystallization Catalyst and a Teddy Bear Chest Attachment!
