This is a guide to New Game Plus and Post-Game Contents (End-Game Content) in Paper Mario: The Origami King for the Nintendo Switch.

Paper Mario: The Origami King doesn't contain any kind of New Game+. This is true for all games in the series so far, and will likely carry over into the next title in the series as well.
Booting up the game after beating the last boss will take you back to the last save you made before the final boss, but the game does recognize that you have beaten it.
While there aren't a ton of things reserved for after you beat the final boss, in most cases, there will still be many reasons to go back and play, even if you have cleared the story.
There are actually a couple of collectible treasures that can only be obtained after clearing the game, so the game is not completely devoid of post-game content.
In addition, if you've already beaten the game and you are looking for more things to do, you can always go hunting for treasures and toads in each area in order to truly 100% the game.
Oh also if you did save and only if you did it shows you get back to rogueport on a boat and the toad says some dialogue like i dont know why you would wana come back here again, but then again if i had a cute goomba girl waiting for me at the dock i'd do the same! Then goombella says some things. As for super paper mario i'm not sure what changes whether you save or not besides that if you save you lose tippi forever but can get a new robotic one from francis for 999 coins or some crazi

francis for 999 coins or some craziness, that works the same way as tippi did. If you dont save you can keep tippi though. I did it both ways on both super paper mario and ttyd, cuz i beat ttyd 3 times now and spm twice now.
