This guide shows you how to save your game progress in Paper Mario: The Origami King for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn how to save the game manually and if it saves the game automatically.
There are two ways to save your game progress in Paper Mario: The Origami King. You can save it Manually and it will also be saved Automatically.
To save the game manually is quite simple. All you need to do is to find a Save Block. Just look for a glowing rainbow-colored S Block and hit it!
After hitting the Save Block, you will see "Saving Complete." There's a Save Block available in every area, within every Streamer.
Paper Mario: The Origami King auto-saves every time the game has to load something new (indicated by the rainbow-colored broken circle icon on the top right of the screen). The game also auto-saves whenever you enter new area in a Streamer. This auto-save fades the screen to black and is accompanied by rainbow-colored "Saving..." text.
Most areas in Origami King are pretty big, which means it might take some time to reach the next Save Block. So, make sure to use the Save Block whenever possible!
