This is a walkthrough for Shroom City (Snif City) in Paper Mario: The Origami King. Read on to learn all Toad, treasure, hidden block, and confetti hole locations, as well as other useful tips and strategies for getting through this area.

Shroom City (Snif City) Walkthrough

Snif City

	Objectives
1	Go to the far north side of the city to enter the Royal Hotel. Go through the north doors and talk to the desk attendant. You'll get Professor Toad's Room Keys.
2	Go to the second floor and try to enter Professor Toad's room. A Snifit will come and lead you to a different room. Go back to the first floor and through the east door. Use the Room Keys on the door on the left.
3	Go inside and read Professor Toad's journal. Afterwards, go back and talk to the desk attendant again. You'll receive a Sun Incense.
4	(not required) Go out of the Hotel and to the south area of the town where a red Snifit is standing under a shelter. Talk to it for information about the desert. It will strongly imply that the Sun Incense is used on the Sun Altar in the main area of Scorching Sandpaper Desert.
5	Leave Snif City and from Scorching Sandpaper Minor, go back south to the Scorching Sandpaper Desert.

Tips and Strategies

Free the Rich Toad and Reap Rewards

In Shroom City (Snif City), there is a Toad firmly stuck to the sign on the entrance of the city. Go to the first building you see in the city, which has a Snifit sitting on a seesaw to the left of it. Go around the east side of the building to find a path behind it. Jump up on the crates to reach the top of the building, then jump off where there is a mark on top of the building to land on the seesaw.

The Snifit will go flying off and hit the Shroom City signboard, and several items and a folded-up Toad will fall off. Hit him with the Hammer to rescue him. He'll tell you to visit his mansion in Toad Town.

Later, if you go to Toad Town and talk with the Toad in his mansion, he will give you 10,000 coins!

Beetle on Golden Pillar	Go behind the first building you see to find crates you can climb to go onto the roof, then hit the beetle on the right pillar.
On the Shroom City sign	Go behind the building in the front of Shroom City and hop up on the crates. Jump onto the seesaw to fling this Snifit into the Shroom City sign, knocking this Toad down.
Left of the Seesaw	There's a stack of Toads tied up at the south western part of the lake.
DJ Shop Signpost	In the top right corner by the shops, hit the sign on the left and a crumbled Toad will fall out. This unlocks the Shroom City shop.
Above the Records	Jump on to the counter, then jump onto the record racks on the right and free the Toad in the corner.
Hole in the Wall	On the path north of the lake there's a hole in the wall behind a breakable create, so hit the wall to free the Toad.
Tree on Secret Ledge	Make the hidden block appear by the tent stall north of the lake, then hit the palm tree on the top of the platform.
Flower on Barrels	Hit the flower on the small barrels in the north west corner of the lake.
Spotlight by the Hotel	South-west of the Hotel, from the area behind the ledge with the palm tree, jump up the staircase railing leading to the hotel and onto the wall. There, hit the spotlight to make an origami you can Hammer appear.
Behind the Lamp Shop	Go inside the Lamp tent from the left side, then make your way up the crates to the top right platform. Break the crates and hit the beetle.
Pool Area Crates	In the right area of the indoor pool party, destroy the crates at the bottom of the screen and pull out the Toad.
Pool Area Surfboard	Use the shelves left of the DJ by the indoor pool to jump to the left area. Defeat the Rats in the crates and use the Magic Circle to empty the pool. Hit the "suftboard" to free the Toad.
Under Baggage Trolley	In the hotel lobby, hit the baggage trolley from the left with your Hammer to free a Toad.
Vase in Right Hallway	Head to the hallway on the right of the hotel lobby, then hit the white pot for a origami beetle in need of whacking to jump out.
