Heart Island

This is a walkthrough for Heart Island in Paper Mario: The Origami King. Read on to learn all Toad, treasure, hidden block, and confetti hole locations, as well as other useful tips and strategies for getting through this area.

Heart Island Walkthrough

Heart Island Puzzle

Objectives
1 Hit the Button below the Palm TreeEnlarge
Hitting the small hedges will make them fall over, sometimes revealing a button. First, go to the east side of the island and hit the hedge button right below the palm tree.
This will make the Toad Statue switch its stone tablet with a stone ball.
2 Tunnel Entrance to the EastEnlarge
Go west through the tunnel from the east, to the area with the ? Block.
3 Switch behind the Heart PlatformEnlarge
Walk east through the gap (not the door) behind the heart platform, and hit the hedge and button.
This will connect the gap on the ramp leading to the Statue.
4 Hit the Southern-most ButtonEnlarge
Go back to the southern area and hit the southern-most hedge button to make the Statue release the stone ball.
5 Jump onto the fallen stone ball, go up to the statue, and read its message.
6 Set sail for the next island, which can be either Spade, Club or Diamond Island.

Optional: Get a Max UP Heart

Heart Island Max UP Heart

First make the origami heart appear by hitting the hit the left-most and right-most hedges and their revealed buttons on the first level. Then go up the ramp and hit the hedge and button to the east of the Toad Statue.

This releases a bridge that allows Mario to reach and hit the origami heart, freeing a Toad who gives you a +20 HP MAX UP Heart.
