This is a guide to Not-Bottomless Holes in Paper Mario: The Origami King, for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn Not-Bottomless Holes locations, as well as rewards for filling in 100% of all holes.
List of Contents
Not-Bottomless Holes can be found all over the fields of Paper Mario: The Origami King. They could be damage caused by Giant Origami-Goombas, which are eating portions of the paperized world, or are maybe tears in the fragile paper world Mario is in.
Like the colorless spots in Paper Mario: Color Splash, filling in all 100% of the holes in an area will earn you a reward, so they are something completionists will have to go after, but moreover, some need to be filled in just to progress into the next area, since walking into them causes Mario to fall in and take damage.
Our walkthroughs contain locations for each bottomless hole in the game. Check your menu to see which areas you still don't have 100% for, then use the guides below to see where each hole is located!
Each time you fill in 100% of the Not-Bottomless of an area, you will receive a sound disc, slowly but surely filling in the Museum's Sound Gallery. Collecting all of these sound discs is also a requirement for getting every Trophy, so be sure and fill in each hole you come across!
Sometimes you'll come across mushroom-shaped holes, and filling them in will grant access to a door leading to a Sensor Lab. Sensor Labs are required in order to Fax Travel, one of the quickest ways to get around from area to area.
You have to use confetti to fill in not-bottomless holes, but you can just fill in each one you come across without worrying about the amount of confetti you have. It is very easy to come across.
How to Get Confetti | When to Use Confetti
Cover Not-Bottomless Holes with Confetti to receive Coins. Covering them can also give Mario access to otherwise inaccessible objects, paths, or areas.
Covering all Not-Bottomless Holes helps towards completing the game at 100%.
