How to Find the Jewels (Desert Tower Eyes) | Four Jewel Locations

This is a walkthrough for Finding the Jewels in Paper Mario: The Origami King. Read on to learn to find all the jewels (desert's tower eyes) needed to unlock the Temple of Shrooms in the Scorching Sandpaper Desert area.

To find all four of the jewels as written in the ancient inscription, you will need to access each of the four towers scattered around Scorching Sandpaper Desert and its surrounding areas. The towers are located in Scorching Sandpaper Desert, Scorching Sandpaper West, Scorching Sandpaper Far West, and Scorching Sandpaper Far East.

Finding the Jewels Walkthrough

There are four locations where eye jewels can be found. Explore each Scorching Sandpaper to find all the jewels!

1. Diamond Jewel

Scorching Sandpaper Desert

	Objectives
1	You'll find the first desert's tower eye on the northwest end of the main area of Scorching Sandpaper Desert. Climb the tower and read the inscription with Professor Toad to hear it: "To find my eye would be a feat... unless you look around my feet." This is a clue to the location of the first jewel.
2	Go down the staircase. Press down on the D-pad in front of the tower's left foot to have Professor Toad dig there. He will find the Diamond Jewel.
3	Go back inside the desert tower and place the Diamond Jewel in the eye slot.

2. Triangle Jewel

	Objectives
1	The second desert's tower eye is in Scorching Sandpaper West. Climb the tower and read the inscription with Professor Toad to hear it: "Beneath the feet of twins entwined in needles, there, the eye you'll find!"
2	Slightly to the east of the tower, you will find two cacti in reflected shapes. Dig in the space between the two to find the Triangle Jewel.
3	Go back inside the tower and place the Triangle Jewel in the eye slot. Use the Fire Vellumental Magic Circle to light the oil aflame and cause the tower to turn.

3. Round Jewel

Scorching Sandpaper Far West

	Objectives
1	At the very entrance of Snif City, two Snifits are waiting on either side. Talk to the one on the left to access Scorching Sandpaper Far West. Climb the tower here and read the inscription with Professor Toad to hear it: "Eclipse the sun above the lake... A buried eye is yours to take!"
2	Little to the left... Go back to Snif City. Stand on the green area south of the lake and look into its reflection. Move to the spot where the black sun is overlapping perfectly with the dome on top of the Royal Hotel.
3	Dig here to find the Round Jewel.
4	Go back to the desert's tower and place the Round Jewel in the eye slot. Use the Fire Vellumental Magic Circle to light the oil aflame and cause the tower to turn.

4. Square Jewel and the Wall of Waves

Find the Wall of Waves (Scorching Sandpaper East

	Objectives
1	Enlarge See the wave pattern on the entrance to the enclosure (left) Travel to Scorching Sandpaper East, an area filled with Boos to the east of Scorching Sandpaper Minor. Find the building with a small inscription of a wave on the front. You will find an empty fireplace inside.
2	Dig in the fireplace to find the Square Jewel.
