For our walkthrough team, a single playthrough took about 35 hours long to make it to the credits roll. However, depending on how much time you spend getting collectibles and rescuing Toads, etc, the amount of time can change by alot
If you ignore all collectibles and try to rush to the end quickly, and you are completing battles efficiently, it seems likely that the game could be cleared in about 20 hours long. The fact that cutscenes are unskippable makes the game a bit longer than it would be otherwise, but it seems like a fun game for speedrunners, so maybe we'll see even faster times!
If you want to 100% the game, picking up all collecttibles, saving all toads, and filling in every hole, you could spend an extremely long time playing this game. This game really shines in the amount of collectibles you can hunt for in each area, so if that is your thing, we recommend not worrying about the clear time so much.
