Peach's Castle Walkthrough

Inside the Castle

	Objectives
1	After the initial cutscene, walk north into the Castle.
2	Go east down the hall and through the door.
3	You will start a conversation with the Origami Princess Peach. However you answer her questions, it matters not – your replies are all paper thin.
4	Mario is banished to the Castle Dungeon.

Castle Dungeon

	Objectives
1	Step on the dark circle on the northwest corner to activate a Magic Circle.
2	Press X to use the 1,000-Fold Arms and tear down the wall, freeing Olivia. Tilt the Joy-cons up and to the left to find a place on the wall to grab. Press ZL+ZR to grab, and tilt the Joy-cons to the right to pull away the wall.
3	Go to the southeast corner to pick up the Hammer.
4	Go to the big box on the northeast corner and smash it with the Hammer to reveal a hole. Go through it.
5	In the next room, go east and smash the small boxes in the way. Press A to look through the gap in the wall.
6	After the cutscene, go through the door the Shy Guys came out of and interact with Bowser. Hold A for a few seconds to free him.
7	Break the large box in the northeast to reveal a Magic Circle. Use the 1,000 Fold Arms and move up and to the right, then grab and pull to the left to reveal a door.
8	Go through the door, save your game and go up the staircase.

Castle Walls

	Objectives
1	Go through the door at the top, then continue ahead for a cutscene.
2	There will be a battle tutorial against 4 Goombas and 4 Shy Guys. Defeat them and another cutscene will start.
3	After the cutscene, Mario will wake up in the Whispering Woods.

Tips and Strategies

New Enemies in this Part

The only enemies to encounter here are the Goomba and Shy Guy introduced in the tutorial. This is the first battle of the game, so it's mostly a practice of using your two primary weapons!

Goomba

Line up the Goombas and use the Jump attack to hit them all in a single bound!

Shy Guy

For the Shy Guys, arrange them in a square of four to hit them all with the Hammer.
