Inside the Temple of Shrooms, you will find a room with stakes in the ground that light up when you hit them with your Hammer. These stakes are a puzzle that release stairs that will allow you to progress through the story.
In the north part of the room, fill the hole on the ground with confetti, and you will find a sign on the floor. This sign is a clue to solve the puzzle. It says A star lights your way, which will make sense when you look at the cracks on the floor. Solve the puzzle to access the next room where you can find DJ Toad and fight Hole Punch!
Temple of Shrooms 100% Walkthrough
You can find the A Star Lights Your Way Puzzle room inside the Temple of Shrooms. You can easily find the entrance to this room once you've survived the room with falling Sarcophagi, it is near the location of the Deep, Deep Vibes disc.
To solve the A Star Lights Your Way Puzzle, you need to form a star shape on the ground, by lighting the stakes. Hit the stakes to light up a star shape on the ground. Don't worry about hitting the wrong stakes. You can use the button on the south side of the room to reset the puzzle. Also, there are three Faceless Toads trapped on the stakes. Don't forget to rescue them!
